Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be contained in a High-Security Highly Dangerous Entity Containment Cell. All instances of SCp-XXXX-2 that come to the attention of the SCP Foundation are to be located and contained as soon as possible, as SCP-XXXX-2 can be very violent. SCp-XXXX-1 is to be placed in a Standard 3 meter by 3 meter by 3 meter Containment Cell, and monitoring equipment is to be checked bi-annually. Any fluctuation in temperature in SCP-XXXX-1's Containment Cell are to be reported to the nearest Personnel with 04 Clearance or higher.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is what appears to be a standard copy of The Living Bible. On the cover is inscribed the initials 'ECP' and the words 'The Living Bible, God's Holy Word' are embossed with gold leaf on the book's leather cover. The back of the book is completely unmarked, and is made from the same leather material as the book's cover.
Bi-annually, SCP-XXXX-1 will open to a random page. Whenever SCP-XXXX-1 opens, all Personnel report feeling nervous and will experience and urge to protect SCP-XXXX-1 from anyone who tries to close the book. After about five minutes of SCp-XXXX-1 being open, a fine gold mist (the beginning stages of SCP-XXXX-2) will manifest above the book's open pages. After around two minutes of the mist manifesting, it will suddenly teleport to a random location on the surface of the Earth. The mist, after it has chosen a location, will begin to condense and solidify, and after about 3 minutes of the solidification process, an entity, hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-2, will have been formed.
SCp-XXXX-2 have appeared 7 different times, and each entity has a different form. Here is a log of all known SCp-XXXX-2 instances:
