Description:
SCP-1499-J is a gas mask that looks similar to SCP-1499 but with a tube that leads to the canister. SCP-1499-J is a Russian military gas mask found in Chernobyl seven years after the explosion. SCP-1499-J seems to be able to teleport around researchers believe that is how it got there as it showed signs of not being their prior or after the explosion it was estimated that it showed up four years after. It was found in a safe in a apartment complex the safe was halfway destroyed but no radiation could be found on SCP-1499-J.
Containment Procedures:
SCP-1499-J is allowed access by any LV 2 or higher personal and is to be kept in storage unit 45 at site 19
Anomalous Effect:
When SCP-1499-J is put on it shows the wearer his or hers greatest desire this happens for up to a week before the effects or SCP-1499-J-1 disappear depending on subjects history two effects may happen a person with a non violent history will experience extreme paranoia and become aggressive to everyone effects last 1-5 hours or weeks(depends on persons amount of patience) when a person with a violent background is the user/ wearer they will act extremely positive, friendly, and confident this effect always last around a year.

Description: D-8855 is a serial killer with anbold textExtremely Negative output on life.
D-8855 put on the mask and claimed to have seen his family D-8855 asked if this was some kind of joke and if they were using some sorta mind control he was assured it was mix between real or fake and the effects would run off soon
D-8855 asked to keep on the mask until the effects wore off his request was granted after the effects wore off D-8855 seemed to be highly positive after the effects wore off.
Side note: Scientist are still trying to figure out how and why it gives these effects study to see if SCP-1499-J is sentient has begun.
