Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5XXX is to remain active online for as long as feasibly possible in order to keep SCP-5XXX-1 instances properly contained. In the event of an SCP-5XXX-2 instance being created, MTF Beta 18 "Incel Tears" are to pose as civilians online and attempt to trigger events that lead to the forum becoming deleted from the internet.
Any illegal events caused by SCP-5XXX-1 are to be immediately reported by local law enforcement to prevent a Rodger-Event.1 Bills requesting strict firearm regulation are to be sent to Congress of the United States of America annually until the laws pass.
In the event of a Rodger-Event, D-Class personell are to be sent to the site where the event is occuring, posing as local law enforcement. Should the SCP-5XXX-1 instance be successfully captured, it will then be sent to stand trial. If given a life sentence, the entity is to be sent to Site-19 as a newly recruited D-Class.
After a Rodger-Event, major news outlets such as CNN, PBS News, MSNBC and Fox News are to cover the aftermath and release court footage, discouraging other SCP-5XXX-1 instances with risk of serving time in prison should they also commit a Rodger-Event.
Description: SCP-5XXX is a website2 created in the year 1993 by Dr. Alana █████. The site is promoted as a support group for civilians who suffer from "involuntary celibacy," a social condition wherein subjects suffer the inability to experience any sexual intercourse with the gender they are most attracted to.3
While the website advertises itself as a support group, it's true purpose is to contain instances of SCP-5XXX-1, civilians who suffer from involuntary celibacy (self-proclaimed "incels"). These entities act identical to that of a Human, with the exception of sharing an anomalous "hivemind" being:
- Heightened levels in frustration and anger.
- Sexual frustration.
- The belief that human females are objects that exist solely to sexually gratify.
- Heightened levels of verbal/physical violence.
- Heightened levels of social insecurity and self-loathing.
- Sexual fantasies involving the kidnapping, enslaving, torturing and murdering of Human females.
- Sexual fantasies involving rape.
- Sexual fantasies involving Humans under the age of 18 years.
- Sexual fantasies involving [REDACTED].
- Sudden decline in self-care and health.
- Sudden decline in socialization outside of SCP-5XXX.
SCP-5XXX exists as a way to "contain" SCP-5XXX-1 occurences. The "hivemind" the entities suffer from draws them to only socialize within the website to express their fantasies and sexual frustration. If an instance of SCP-5XXX-1 attempts to leave the website and "cure" itself, other instances will begin a "Blackpill" protocol,4 to aggressively discourage them from leaving. Examples of ways SCP-5XXX-1 instances have succeeded in Blackpill protocols include:
- Telling the subject that they will never self improve.
- Encouraging the subject to give up all attempts of communication with Human females.
- Encouraging the subject to commit self harm and/or self termination.
- Discouraging the subject to practice their social skills outside of SCP-5XXX.
- Encouraging the subject to abandon all hobbies and interests.
SCP-5XXX-2 instances are internet forums on popular websites such as Reddit5 and Discord6, and exist as additional threads for SCP-5XXX-1 instances to discuss their frustrations. Due to the high-level risk of rapid contamination and creation of SCP-5XXX-1 due to exposure, MTF Beta 18 "Incel Tears" has been assigned to terminating all of SCP-5XXX-2 as possible.
Addendum 5XXX-1: MTF Beta 18 "Incel Tears" are heavily advised to let SCP-5XXX remain on the internet to keep SCP-5XXX-1 contained from the general public. If the website is terminated from the internet, the entities could become significantly more prone to inflicting physical violence on others to let their frustrations out, and could potentially cause a Rodger-Event.
Addendum 5XXX-2: Civilians who suffer from mental illness are significantly more prone to becoming an occurence of SCP-5XXX-1. As a result, movies and television that show audiences early warning signs of firearm violence and serial murder are to be heavily advertised and saturated in mainstream media in order to teach civilians how to prevent a potential Rodger-Event and help rehabilitate people suffering from mental illness.7
Addendum 5XXX-3: Over the course of SCP-5XXX's existense, instances of SCP-5XXX-1 have developed slang terms to help aid in describing their frustrations.
Incident Report 5/23/14: During his adolescent years and College education, Elliot Rodger became an incredibly dangerous occurence of SCP-5XXX-1, blaming his peers for abandoning him socially and rejecting any sexual advances he would make on them.
On the evening of May 23, 2014, in Isla Vista, California, Elliot murdered six (6) civilians and injured fourteen (14) others near the campus of University of California, Santa Barbara, before self-terminating himself inside his vehicle. The motive of the massacre was revenge towards his peers.
Elliot Rodger
The event began when Elliot murdered 3 civilians in his apartment via knife, before driving to a sorority house and gunning down 3 women. He then drove and shot another man to death inside a local deli, afterwards driving past the speed limit, injuring several others in the process.
D-Class personell were sent to the scene posing as law enforcement. After a gunfight, Elliot crashed his vehicle. Upon recovery, Elliot was discovered to have self-terminated himself via firearm.
Shortly before the incident, Elliot e-mailed an autobiography to his peers and family. The file, titled "My Twisted World: The Story of Elliot Rodger", was made available on the Internet shortly after the massacre. In it, he describes his disturbed childhood, domestic conflicts, frustration over not being able to find a romantic partner, his hatred of women, his hatred for couples (most prevalent of these being interracial couples), and his plans for what he described as "retribution".
After this event, Elliot's father, Peter Rodger, went on to make a documentary film titled Oh My God, wherein he explains the incident from his perspective, including detailing warning signs his son had shown in hindsight.

Instances of SCP-5XXX-1 soon began to glorify and idolize Elliot for the massacre, reffering to him as a "hero" for his actions. As a response to this, ways to prevent all future incidents involving SCP-5XXX-1 instances committing acts of mass murder (dubbed "Rodger-Events") have been added to Special Containment Procedures.
