Special Containment Procedures: SCP- 5555-J The Rubber Snake is to be contained in a glass or clear container 12in by 12in by 12in cube. The lid of said container is to alway be on top with a 5 10 pound Wight on top of it. Be sure there are no cracks on said container or gaps of which the SCP- 5555-J can excape though. Have the said container be put on a 24in by 12in by 12in stool made of steel metal. Surrounding said metal stool and container with copper in a circle 25in in diameter for more secure measures if the SCP- 5555-J were to remove itself from the container. When examining SCP- 5555-J, it's to be removed from it's containment into the examination room made of glass and copper with no gaps of which it can excape. There must be at least 2 subjects when examining SCP -5555-J since it seems to vanish from the subjects point of view if looked away for more then 10 seconds. The SCP- 5555J can be held must be handle as if it's a real snake, it will bite.
Description: It was found in the ■■■■■■ of ■■■■■ by Dr.■■■■ when examing tree growth. SCP- 5555-J does not have any company logos or places to where it was created. It's made of died rubber, the colors and 8in size make it look like a rubber toy Gartner snake. It slithers in its surroundings and flicks out its tongue like a live specimen would when smelling for food. Unlike the live specimen however, SCP- 5555-J has fangs that can puncture into a subjects skin if mistreated. It does not need food since it's made of mainly rubber. The fangs are the only part of which appears to be made of bone and unknown substance. When squeezed or poked it makes a random like sound which can either startle the subjects in the premises or put them to sleep for about 15 to 20 seconds. If the subject chooses to mistreat SCP- 5555-J, the SCP- 5555-J will bite the subject.
If bitten by SCP- 5555-J the subject gets one of 3 things in his or her skin:
• a funny looking tattoo which can be a simple madface or goofy in detail
• a dark bruise that won't disappear unless disinfected with medication for 3 weeks
• the chance you can gain snake eyes which provides nightvision for 25 to 30 minutes.
SCP- 5555-J is an excape artist if not checked on every 2 hours and entertained by it's surroundings at least once a week.
