Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 6in x 6in x 3in metal safe on site-██. SCP-XXXX is to be monitored at all times via CCTV and should only be touched by Class D personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 19██ polygraph machine measuring 5.7 x 5.3 x 2.2 inches the machine has a small amount of corrosion on the pegs of the polygraph other than that it looks like a normal polygraph.
SCP-XXXX will turn on and off randomly and somehow will start reading vital signs of the closest person in close proximity to SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX also has some other anomalous properties like the ability to always tell when someone is lying, Tests on D-class personnel show signs of the person being asked questions to go into a state of psychosis after 10 minutes and is willing to answer any questions truthfully.
When D-class personnel are administering the test before the 10-minute mark they will begin to feel anxiety, Stress, and report hearing the polygraph talk to them saying "they're lying" or "they're telling the truth". after the 10-minute mark, the D-class subject will go into the psychosis state the feelings will go away for the D-class administering the test and any questions after that will be answered with truth by the D-class subject and no communication between D-class and SCP-XXXX was reported after the 10 minute mark.
just after 30 mins of exposure to SCP-XXXX will cause brain damage and after just █-hours death will occur. Autopsy's show subject's to have melted brains matching up with the brain damage seen 30 minutes into questioning. The D-class administering the test will begin to stop showing emotion after the 15-minute mark and will begin to stare at the polygraph and not blink. At the 25-minute mark, the D-class administering the test will become protective of the polygraph and when the on-site security team tries to pull the D-class taking the test the D-class administering the test will become extremely violent and start attacking anyone near the polygraph. No further testing is permitted at this time
SCP-XXXX seems to have a trade like mentality D-class that have reported hearing the voice talks in a very professional tone. He try's to get them to keep asking questions saying " you need to complete our deal" or "do it for our trade". This is how SCP-XXXX keeps the person administering the test there like persuasion in away.
You can break the feeling of protecting SCP-XXXX by simply giving any persons affected Class-A amnestics. how ever there is no way to reverse the brain damage cause by SCP-XXXX at this time.
Addendum: SCP-xxxx was found taken into the foundation's possession when they were noted by the chief of police saying his staff started going crazy for it and was protecting it when questioned, Police chief █████ said it had always been in the station in a box on the bottom shelf and once a water fountain broke and leaked water into the closet were it was located and that's why there was rust forming at the pegs. He said he does not know if it was ever used, For now, All personal affected by SCP-XXXX is to be contained at site-██ and is to be delivered Class-A amnestics and returned to their families, SCP-XXXX is to be used as an interrogation tool by foundation personal to gain information on the whereabouts of other SCP's

Dr.██████: So a polygraph that makes you tell the truth and gives you a time limit what could go wrong?
D-1924: I mean it's definitely not the worst thing to enter this foundation
Dr.██████: But think about what the O-5 council can do with it you basically got 10 minutes to lie after 30 your brain begins to liquefy and after ██ hours you're dead and don't even get me started on the D-class giving the test
D-1924:i mean it could be used for good but the problem is the person administering the test what if you switched out the D-class throughout the test
Dr.██████: that could work but what if the effect gets stronger and does not matter if we switch them out or not?
D-1924: doubt it SCP-XXXX only affect the people taking the test at the time it's not growing in power
