Item #: SCP-7526
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-7526 must be kept inside a sound proof containment area, with walls made of metal, along with the known SCP-7526-A's that have been contained as well. SCP-7526-A's must be fed live animals every twelve hours, and can not be more than fourteen feet away from SCP-7526, at any time, to ensure the safety of researchers if a breakout were to occur. Description: SCP-7526 is a euclid class SCP, with the appearance of a red, and white electric guitar. It was discovered in a cave, located in [REDACTED], Tennessee. SCP-7526 was found under a pile of rubble, and yet was in pristine condition upon it's discovery. The two men that found it had complained of headaches, that had begun after they brought it home to play, describing what sounded like a flashbang upon doing so. The two men were later found dead, with their body intact, but only fragments of their head remaining. Only three tests have been conducted on SCP-7526, all resulting in death of facility personnel. Upon testing, it was discovered that when played, SCP-7526 released a high pitch frequency, that can result in hearing loss, and possibly even loss of vision. Personnel that heard the sound reported having painful headaches, that only increased upon taking medication. Approximately twenty two hours after, the personnel that heard the sound, simultaneously collapsed, and died not long after. Their heads began to swell, before exploding, due to unknown means. Their skin then turned into rubber like material, with a black charred pigment, before the corpse reanimated, into what is known as SCP-7526-A. SCP-7526-A is not directly hostile but will resort to any means to play SCP-7526, seemingly unknowing of what happens, if they do. If they can not however, they will grow elongated nails, as they start making a sound similar to that of SCP-7526, but usually without the symptoms of becoming SCP-7526-A. Any attempt at destroying SCP-7526 results in a self defense mechanism, that creates an even louder sound, bursting the attackers eardrums, and causing their cerebrum to disintegrate, almost instantaneously. There are currently 14 different SCP-7526-A's, that are kept with SCP-7526, and show no sign of wanting to escape, or remembering their former self.
