SCP-4820 is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell, and at no point should the cell be opened and personnel allowed in. SCP-4820's containment chamber must have at least two cameras functional within the cell at all times. Interaction with the object without permission from personnel of clearance level-4 or above will, and must be terminated on the spot. There must be one (or two) security personnel watching the feed of the cameras inside its cell, with 4 hour shifts between personnel. Two other security personnel must be stationed outside the containment chamber. Any noise coming from SCP-4820 should be reported, but will not be acted on by security personnel stationed at SCP-4820.
Description: SCP-4820 is an old unhinged wood door, with multiple scratch marks on and around the doorknob. When the knob is gripped, the door will secure itself to the surface it rests against regardless of position, as long as the surface is completely flat. There's no known method to detach it without releasing the handle first. When the knob is turned, and the door is opened, it leads to small suburban area covered in a dense fog.
SCP-4820's opposite side is an entirely detached location unknown to the Foundation; The unknown location it reveals is extremely run-down, and vision is heavily limited within. All attempts to enter the building SCP-4820 is attached to result in failure, as the only door on the outside is 4820.
The "outside" of SCP-4820 is desolate, with only signs of previous interaction, but no observed beings. There have been no signs of any entities inside 4820. After Expedition 4820-4, there has been clear signs of activity within SCP-4820, as well as evidence of their intentions. See document SCP-4820-1.
Audio and video recordings are stable only within five meters of SCP-4820, all feed and recordings are lost once the distance has been exceeded. No further expeditions are to be conducted without permission from Dr. Carver ████ or the O5 council.
