Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5869 is to be kept in a room at all times with little to no outside auditory stimulation. SCP-5869 can be touched when in its dormant state, and viewed from a safe distance. The room must be soundproofed, and no personnel should enter without proper gear and resources at all times. When in its active state, SCP-5869 **MUST NOT BE TOUCHED FOR ANY REASON **.

Description: In its dormant state, SCP-5896 is a small "glop" of an unknown substance measuring about 6 square inches, but its colour appears different from person to person. SCP-5869's colour has been reported to be from a "gross greenish-yellowish" to a "Very bright Bluish or silvery". The reason for the diverse colouring of SCP-5869 is currently unknown, but there are personality surveys being conducted to see if there is any correlation between peoples' personalities/traits/mental state to the colour that is seen. SCP-5869's colour in a picture is black, and will show as black for everyone who sees the picture. Its chemical composition is unidentifiable despite the many tests having been done on it. In SCP-5869's active state, it loses its "gloppy" texture, and becomes a liquid, with a texture much like maple syrup.
