Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a glass container measuring 10 cm x 10 cm x 5 cm which is stored in a secure locker at Site ██. SCP-XXXX may only be removed from the container for research purposes under the supervision of a Researcher. Level 3 clearance or above is required to access the locker containing SCP-XXXX. The glass container should be checked atleast once a month for damage or corrosion.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a cuboid shaped, ordinary looking red colored soap of brand [REDACTED], measuring 8 cm x 8 cm x 2.4 cm. According to the leaflet that was found with SCP-XXXX, "The Soap of Eternal Youth™ makes the skin brighter and provides a radiant, natural glow that doesn't fade away. Eternal Youth can be obtained with careful, regular usage.". It also featured a warning that said "The Soap of Eternal Youth™ should not be used more that once in a span of 24 hours. Excessive usage may cause severe side-effects.".
On the first look, SCP-XXXX resembles any standard house soap however, upon reaching close enough to SCP-XXXX, a strong sensation to use it could be felt. Subjects have also described hearing whispers and/or loud screams (See Tests A&B) when they're in close proximity to SCP-XXXX. Upon bathing with SCP-XXXX, the subject claims that their skin feels tighter and younger. A natural glow can also be observed on the subject's skin (See Test B). These effects can be maintained for long periods of time, which almost stops the ageing process of the skin by carefully using SCP-XXXX according to the prescribed instructions. However, using SCP-XXXX more than once in 24 hours leads to the subject's skin aging almost spontaneously until the skin starts to look decaying, similar to that of a decaying corpse (See Test C). SCP-XXX can also be used on inanimate objects. When used on objects, the object's surface appears clean and shiny as if it was brand new. Using it more than once in 24 hours on objects corrodes the surface to the point of no repair (See Test D). Because of this, SCP-XXXX's glass container could also become corroded or damaged and regular checking for is mandatory. Further Testing of SCP-XXXX has been stopped.
SCP-XXXX was found in a semi-burnt cabin, located deep in the █████ Rainforest. The cabin stood semi-burnt with no sign of civilization in approximately a 100 km radius from the cabin. The cabin was located deep in the forests and was found by a team of 4 rescuers searching for a missing person. The team, out of curiosity decided to enter the cabin where SCP-XXXX lay on the table. The rescuers claimed that they first felt an urge to use the soap but were creeped out by the screams and whispers and so they immediately evacuated the area and contacted the SCP Foundation.
