Soundless World

SCP-XXXX is an anomalous set of 12 acoustic foam panels. Each panel is 2.5 by 30 by 30 centimeters, and weighs roughly one Kilogram each. SCP-XXXX is located at [REDACTED], in storage room [REDACTED] locker six.

When apart, these panels exhibit no anomalous properties. But when placed next to each other in the form of a door, their anomalous property activates.

When attempting to walk through the door. A world, which is none to similar to ours, is present. With the sole exception, of their being less than usual noise, or none at all.

All noises outside of one meter away from a person, is rendered essentially null. With notable examples being: Waves. Thunder. Car horns. Engines. Explosions. And gunfire.

This soundless world, contains several new species, some of which are highly aggressive towards anything producing noise. Designated SCP-XXXX-X, SCP-XXXX-X and SCP-XXXX-X.

SCP-XXXX-X, is an extremely tall humanoid solitary hunting species. Reaching approximately six meters in hight, it presumably hunts via emitting white noise at 100DB. Apparently, many fauna (Including humans from this world) are susceptible to noises louder than 110 DB, which causes fatalities. It presumably emits white noise at these levels to incapacitate, rather than kill.

SCP-XXXX-X, are human like creatures, which have evolved to have larger than normal eyes, approximately four times the size of regular humans. Despite them being almost identical (apart from the eyes) to a regular human, they do not seem to possess any kind of machinery, or anything that creates anything louder than roughly 85DB. As anything louder causes immediate distress.

SCP-XXXX-X entities speak mainly in a whisper, and are generally friendly. Though they do not speak any known language, and efforts are ongoing to be able to commune with them.

SCP-XXXX-X, are a swarm like entity, consisting of hundreds of creatures.

A single one of these creatures emits less than 1DB of noise, and are considered less than an issue. However, when grouped together, these creatures add their collective noise together, which results in exponential growth of noise. Much like SCP-XXXX-X, SCP-XXXX-X hunts via emiting noises, with the main difference being that they hunt at much greater Decibels.

It is currently unknown just how big these swarms can be, but speculation is that they are relatively small, consisting of 100 to 200 individuals.
