The rusty cargo ship

Item #: 4251

Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Whenever SCP-4251 is spotted on the coastline of █████ ██████, all present civilians and/or non-essential staff in a two (2) kilometers radius must be evacuated immediately. Access must be prohibited to the area and under no circumstances any unauthorized personnel should approach SCP-4251.
Any person who entered SCP-4251 must be administered class A amnesiacs or, in the most extreme cases, terminated as soon as possible.
If SCP-4251 disappears from its current location, procedure Omega-Sauxon must be carried out immediately. Once relocated, the procedures mentioned before have to be applied.
Should any personnel show signs of psychological trauma, a full examination in Site-███ is mandatory.
All personnel entering SCP-4251 are advised to not interact with any objects present and are advised to avoid interacting with any SCP-4251-1 instance and evacuate if any entity tries to approach them.

Description: SCP-4251 is a standard 200 meter cargo ship with the name ███ ████████ painted on each side of its hull. The vessel appears to be rusty and show extreme signs of decay. SCP-4251 shows no abnormal properties unless a human subject enters the ship.
Whenever a human subject enters SCP-4251, they will immediately encounter humanoid figures (referred to as SCP-4251-1) who appear to be some form of “shadows”. The entities will then speak to the subject and “guide” them through the interior of the ship, showing the subject each room and/or mechanism inside the ship. SCP-4251-1 will then guide the subject towards a room with a reinforced door sealing its entrance. Once opened, the door will lead to a room known as the “red room” in which an entity (referred to as SCP-4251-2) is sitting in the middle of the room. The entity appears to be an elderly woman with no visible facial expressions and hair. SCP-4251-2 appears to be disturbed and will make slight movements from a small period of time.
Subjects looking at SCP-4251-2 report feeling extreme anxiety and a huge urge to touch it. Should SCP-4251-2 be disturbed, it will begin to scream loudly and chase the victim. At this point, all other SCP-4251-1 entities will become hostile and will attempt to capture the victim, at which point they will restrain the subject and render them incapable of any movement. SCP-4251-2 will then proceed to [DATA EXPUNGED], leaving no traces of the person who entered the ship initially.
Should the victim escape SCP-4251, they will experience severe anxiety and depression. All subjects commit suicide after a period of two weeks or enter a permanent catatonic state.
SCP-4251 will relocate periodically and disappear for █ to ██ weeks and relocate in an usually distant location from it’s previous point. SCP-4251 seems to prefer crowded areas, such as public beaches.
SCP-4251 will actively lure any humans in a one (1) kilometer radius into approaching the vessel. Subjects report a huge feeling to “investigate” and some even report they “saw someone waving at them” (possibly entities of SCP-4251-1)

Incident 4251.A: during a regular inspection of SCP-4251’s hull, Dr. ██████ (who was a in a smaller ship 250 meters away from SCP-4251) began to show extreme feelings of panic and anxiety. When control tried to contact Dr. ██████ and her crew via intercom systems, no response was ever given.
A level 3 security team was sent to Dr. ██████’s location. Once aboard the ship, the squad found several SCP-4251-1 instances who acted violently against the security personnel, resulting in █ casualties. The bodies of Dr. ██████ and the rest of the crew were never found and the ship was destroyed to prevent SCP-4251-1 instances from breaching containment.
Due to this, no ship or boat is allowed to be less than 500 meters away from SCP-4251.

Incident 4251.B: SCP-4251 appeared in ████████████ beach during a surfing contest. This resulted in the deaths of ██ civilians. The remaining civilians were administered class A amnesiacs and those who escaped from SCP-4251 were terminated due to the severe trauma they experienced (amnesiacs proved to be ineffective in this cases).
