Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5128 is to be locked in a standard humanoid cell with a titanium-reinforced doorway. As of yet SCP-5128 has not made any attempts to escape its holdings and has been very cooperative with Foundation staff and procedures.

Description: SCP-5128 is a creature that changes its appearance as it pleases.¹ The most common thread between forms is that SCP-5128 is unable to change its eyes which have a dark, black color in the vitreous body as opposed to a more typical white color in humans. Though SCP-5128 does not stay in one form often it does have one form that Foundation staff has referred to as its "Default Form"². To hide its eyes SCP-5128 prefers to wear some form of goggles or sunglasses³

Acquisition: SCP-5128 was apprehended after an attempt on its part to access Site [DATA REDACTED] after tracking the Foundation's Upsilon-Beta 3 Protocol to block transmission of SCP-993's broadcasts. Once apprehended by Mobile Task Force Gamma-5 SCP-5128 made several attempts to flee, several of which included using its shapeshifting abilities, but once its attempts proved to be futile it reverted to its previous "Default Form". SCP-5128 proceeded with Foundation Task Team Alpha and sat in its cell, occasionally pacing around and examining what details it could find in its surroundings.

Test Run 1A: Conducted by Dr. Niles Holland: Dr. Niles Holland (Hereby referred to as Researcher 1A) began with an interview to first get an idea of SCP-5128's baseline intelligence level and a psychological profile.

Foreword: As SCP-5128 was being taken to Interview Room [DATA REDACTED] and was waiting, Dr. Niles Holland entered to discover an elderly female of Asian descent sitting in place where SCP-5128 was sat.

???: (Translated from halting Cantonese) Who are you? Where am I? I do not believe this is where my Majjong club usually meets.

Dr. Niles Holland: You can drop the act SCP-5128, I've already been briefed on your abilities.

[SCP-5128 proceeds to frown as he transforms back into his "Default Form"]

SCP-5128: Very well, I suppose you'll be my torturer?

Dr. Niles Holland: No, I am a researcher that has been assigned your file to assess whether you are a threat to anyone.

SCP-5128: A researcher, eh? Well I've never been researched! Detained, tortured and scammed but never researched. So are you going to ask me to look at those bad drawings and I tell you what they look like? Do I have to stare at a pocket watch and tell you about my childhood?

Dr. Niles Holland: No, nothing like that. Just some general questions to better understand who and what you are. Before we start with more personal questioning I must ask about the circumstances surrounding your apprehension by Mobile Task Force. You were found outside Site [DATA REDACTED] trying to get to the recordings of SCP-993, why is that?

SCP-5128: Oh you mean Bobbles? Well see one of his episodes came through my satellite data receiver, I think it had something to do with a giant tinker toy taking over the town of [DATA REDACTED], Tennessee⁴ but then the feed cut out before it could finish. Well I hate when I don't get to finish my cartoons so I did a little looking around and I found the warehouse that was sending the signal to block his feed. I simply didn't want an artist's creative vision to get stifled!

Dr. Niles Holland: I see, so you feel like we were censoring SCP-993?

SCP-5128: Exactly! I feel like everyone has a voice, even if that voice may not be the most…shall we say "stable" it should still be listened to and heard. Look at you for example, you're hearing me out yet you don't know anything about me! For all you know I might be able to kill you just by blinking the right way! Yet here you are, sitting there and staring me down like a parent listening to his child's explanation for flushing the goldfish down the toilet.

Dr. Niles Holland: Well as of yet you haven't given us reason to worry, we're keeping our guard up though. Should we be scared of you?

[There is a long silence as SCP-5128 smiles and stares Dr. Niles Holland in the eyes]

Dr. Niles Holland: Moving on, I'd like to learn more about this form that you've taken on. You take multiple forms but this one seems to be one you revert to most. Is this your actual form or just one you're comfortable in?

SCP-5128: Oh this one was one from a government agent I took the place of in [DATE REDACTED]. I don't think he had a family or anyone to really go back to and they had been torturing me for about 6 months trying to find out what made me tick. Interview Log #5128-1-1 Final Notes: SCP-5128 is trying to be intimidating, seemingly because it feels like it has to be. It's unclear whether it feels remorse for its killing of this government agent it has used as its own image however with the knowledge that it has murdered a human being its cell has upgraded with low-level security measures to ensure proper defense should it feel the need to kill again. More testing will be required but I am feeling confident in this. - Dr. Niles Holland

Addendum 2A: SCP-5128 was made aware that it could make certain requests for amenities and comforts within reason while under its EUCLID status. To test its limits SCP-5128 requested a "Catalog of Faces" and when asked for a reason for this request it simply stated, "I'd like to experiment with a new look, after our little chat I realize it's slightly…morbid…to be in the form of someone who I became so personal with, even if it was in quite a negative way.". I am suggesting to The 05-Council that I use this request as an opportunity to see the full extent of SCP-5128's shape-shifting abilities, at least within humanoid limitations. Limitations in the Foundation's best interest may, of course, be set by the Council.

Foreword by the 05-Council, as dictated by Madam [DATA REDACTED]: The Council has granted use of a compiled "Catalog of Faces" hereby referred to as SCP-5128-CAF which has been comprised of People of Interests from FBI, CIA and NSA databases. The Council understands these lists pale in comparison to Foundation standards but in this instance it will be a benefit the specimen does not get access to a more in-depth list and SCP-5128-CAF will be held for reference should SCP-5128 escape.

[SCP-5128 begins morphing it's face to match the pictures in SCP-5128-CAF, changing multiple features with different faces such as facial hair, hair color, nose and face structure and more. SCP-5128 checks in the mirror as he settles on each facial choice]

Dr. Niles Holland: So you have a concept of a face being flattering, do you have certain faces or features you like or dislike?

SCP-5128: Well not inherently, when you've been around as long as I have and been as many people, it all tends to become ambiguous. [SCP-5128 points at a person in SCP-5128-CAF, listed as Inmate [DATA REDACTED]] This one for example I can tell was not Mr. Popular as a child, but as for more subtle things like crooked teeth or missing fingers I don't tend to pay attention to.

[SCP-5128 settles on a face, listed as Inmate [DATA REDACTED] seeming very pleased with the look of the face he had chosen]

Dr. Niles Holland: Well I must say SCP-5128 this has been very informative and it seems you've chosen a face you approve of.

SCP-5128: I'm glad I've been of some help to you Doc. It seems the foundation has proven itself to be much more than what I previously expected it to be.

Interview Log #5128-2-1 Final Notes: SCP-5128's choice of Inmate [DATA REDACTED] may not indicate any serious psychological characteristics as all mugshots laid out in SCP-5128-CAF had no descriptions or names associated with them, merely their numbers given by their facilities. SCP-5128's trust in the Foundation has been strengthed so far by these interviews and hopefully, the allowance of these amenities will only continue to grow this trust. - Dr. Niles Holland

2. Foundation staff has referred to its "Default Form" as a Caucasian male, in his mid to late 60s with short grey hair and facial hair with matching color.

3. These have been confiscated by Foundation staff as to keep SCP-5128 from easily going into hiding.

4. Records of SCP-993 show no sign of this episode being found by the Foundation as of yet. Send a plainclothes task force to this area to ensure no anomalies are occurring.
