Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard Safe-class container, and only taken out for testing purposes.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a stopwatch made from green plastic with two buttons on the top and a slider from 1 to 7 on the back. The numbers are colored with the extremes in red; 2, 3, 5 and 6 in yellow and 4 in green.
The object's screen always displays ten seconds when none of the buttons has been pushed, the leftmost button has no apparent function, while the rightmost starts the watch and SCP-XXXX counts down until it reaches 0, when the screen returns to displaying the number 10.
When the slider is at 4, the object presents no anomalous properties. The other numbers however, appear to distort the perception of time of the person who pushed the right button (hereon called SCP-XXXX-1). Although, not in a consistent way, the lower numbers makes time appear slower1, and SCP-XXXX-1 stays in this state for 10 real seconds. While the higher numbers make time appear faster2, and SCP-XXXX-1 stays in this state for 10 perceived seconds.
SCP-XXXX was retrieved in ██████ ███ middleschool, in ████████, Brazil. On the day 8/4/20██.
It came to the foundation's attention when a teacher from the school disappeared in front of the class while using the object.
Addendum XXXX-A: When the slider is set to 3, SCP-XXXX-1 moves and talks faster for ten seconds. Later when asked, subjects report that they spent about three hours in effect.
When the slider is set to 2, SCP-XXXX-1 acts much faster than on 3 for the same 10 seconds.
When the effect ends subjects usually are very hungry and thirsty, they report spending about ten days in effect3.
While on numbers 2 and 3 subjects report having to use much more force to lift and move objects while the effects are active.
If the slider is set to 1, SCP-XXXX-1 disappears as soon as the button right button is pressed, and SCP-XXXX drops to the ground.
Addendum XXXX-B: When the slider is set to 5, SCP-XXXX-1's movement slows down and the effect takes a little over two hours and 45 minutes. When it is over however, the subjects report it taking only ten seconds.
When the slider is set to 6, SCP-XXXX-1 is slowed down ever further than on 5, the effect this time, takes a little over 11 days and 13 hours. As with 5, to the subjects only ten seconds have ellapsed since the pressing of the button.

The effects of setting the slider to 7 are similar to setting it to 1, SCP-XXXX-1 instantly disappears
