SCP-3485-3 edited for safe viewing

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3485 is to be kept in a Recreation of ███████ created using ████████ which can control non-Euclidean geometry. The size observed from the outside of the containment chamber is 10m x 10m, but the extent from the inside is a one to one recreation of ███████. SCP-3485 assigned house is to be outfitted with anti-corrosive furniture and materials. To maintain the illusion of a normal life, AI inhabited humans are to act as his parents. Every fortnight, a cleaning team is to clean the house thoroughly to collect the acid-like substance SCP-3485 secretes, as this substance with long enough exposure, can corrode most materials.

Researchers within the containment chamber are encouraged to maintain friendships with such anomalous entities to research the entities further. Researches that interact with SCP-3485 are required to have memetic training to withstand the anomalous effects that SCP-3485 emits. If SCP-3485 shows any further anomalous activity than is normal, MTF are to be dispatched. SCP-3485 is to be kept in the memetic sector of the MAH containment chamber.

SCP-3485-3 and SCP-3485-2 are to be kept in a standard security storage locker in site-██. Level 4 personnel and above can authorise the removal of instances for research and other purposes. Only memetic trained, Level 3 researchers can conduct experiments and research on SCP-3485-3 and SCP-3485-2. Contact with SCP-3485-2 is strictly forbidden, and researchers handling SCP-3485-2 are required to use tools.

If SCP-3485 realises its anomalous nature or its residence within site-██, SCP-3485 is to be detained and train personnel are to investigate SCP-3485’s realization. Multiple methods of extraction can be used, ranging from drug-induced complacency to torture. If such methods fail, Protocol Molly-43 is to be used. After interrogation succeeds, class C and A amnestics are to be administered to SCP-3485 to maintain a state of normality. Normal protocol is to be followed, after the recovery of SCP-3485.

Description: SCP-3485 is a Thai male in his teenage years who appears to have terrible hygiene. All SCP-3485 pores are observed to be clogged, which are anomalous in nature. Attempts to remove the blockage results in the immediate generation of new oils and grease. DNA taken from SCP-3485 shows its close genealogy to orangutans which can be observed from its skull and lip structures. SCP-3485 is also observed to have poor motor controls, movement seen is similar to an orangutan.

SCP-3485 secretes an acid-like substance from its pores, which can corrode most materials with long enough exposure. If an entity touches this substance, it will create extreme levels of discomfort and repulsion which forces the entity to run away. Testing shows promising results to use this substance to help secure SCPS, as some anomalous entities are not immune to SCP-3485 effects, although AI does not seem to be affected. When collected by the cleaning team, it is to be designated SCP-3485-2.

The face of SCP-3485 is considered a memetic hazard. When viewing, untrained personnel may experience vomiting, coughing, crying, a flight response and even possible ███████████. These effects also manifest in photos of SCP-3485. These photos are designated SCP-3485-3. Like SCP-3485-2, testing shows promising results for the containment of other SCPS.

SCP-3485 can emit anomalous flatulence, which was observed to linger in the air for 10 minutes. Its effects are similar to teargas, but its effects are a magnitude more potent. Along with the effects of teargas, the repulsion effects of SCP-3485-2 and SCP-3485-3 are also present. SCP-3485 has only rarely emitted this gas which the foundation hopes to utilise.

SCP-3485 is to be referred to as ‘Mr J’. SCP-3485’s name before the foundation had located SCP-3485 was ‘█████ █████’.

Discovery Log: During ██/██/███ SCP-3485 was discovered in ███████. Surrounding him were █ bodies. They were identified to be his classmates. Alongside the bodies, an acid-like substance was observed to be surrounding him, eating away at the concrete. The acid had destabilised the supports of the ███████ building. When personnel approached, SCP-3485 was seen to have been covered in an acid-like substance. When personnel approached, SCP-3485 looked up, and personnel started running away. MTF Eta-10 was quickly dispatched to the location of SCP-3485 to contain the memetic hazard.

Note: It seems like the potency of SCP-3485’s effect scales with his mental state. With the use of amnestic, we may be able to transfer him to the memetic sector of the mass anomalous humanoid containment chamber. We must test this theory before we transfer him though.

Addendum 3485-a1

Notes: Max has informed me that SCP-3485 has taken an interest in him. Testing is required to prove this. It is possible to use Max to investigate SCP-3485 more.

Addendum 3485-a2

Notes: After seeing the effects of the substance SCP-3485 creates, I have proposed its use in the containment of other SCPs. This substance may also prove useful in fights against other groups of interest. We have deemed SCP-3485-3 too dangerous for normal use, as untrained personnel could be affected. The MTF also just doesn't want to have photos of the guy.

Addendum 3485-a3

Notes: The gas that SCP-3485 emitted during incident c1 has piqued the foundation's interest as its use could be useful in fights against groups of interest and SCPs. Attempts to create this gas via the use of SCP-3485-2 has been unsuccessful. The viability of this gas is under consideration, as the rarity of it occurring is too sparse to be viable.

Addendum 3485-b1 Experiment Log

Test Subject: SCP-3485

Date: 15/03/████

Procedure: Max is to stare at SCP-3485 for an extended period of time.

Results: SCP-3485 looks at Max for around a minute, smiling while doing so. After the one-minute mark, SCP-3485 looks away, and tries to look presentable by pursing his lips, etc… SCP-3485 starts to smile again as Max starts calling SCP-3485’s name. This goes on for around thirty seconds as the test is concluded. SCP-3485 replies as soon as Max looks away from him to do his paperwork.

Notes: It seems that SCP-3485 is quite fond of Max. We could use Max for further research into his past and abilities. Max can also be a failsafe, preventing a mental breakdown, and escape from containment. Further testing will be held to see the level of attachment SCP-3485 has for Max.

Addendum3485-b2 Experiment Log

Test Subject: SCP-3485

Date: 15/03/████

Procedure: Max is to ignore all attempts of interaction from SCP-3485.

Results: After 1-5 minutes, SCP-3485 tries to communicate with Max by calling his name. After around 20 unsuccessful tries, Justin stops and looks at his paper. Max is then prompted to leave the room. After he leaves, SCP-3485 tries to force an interaction with Max by stealing his pen. Max does not react to having his pen stolen, and instead takes another one out of his bag. SCP-3485 starts to get desperate and calls out to Max again which researchers presume to be because he wanted to reveal that he had Max’s pen. After another unsuccessful attempt, SCP-3485 then tries to talk to the tester to talk to Max. SCP-3485 stops calling out to Max. SCP-3485 can be seen glancing at Max often. After the twenty-minute mark, SCP-3485 drags his chair to Max, stopping halfway to jab Max with a pen. Max ignores him and SCP-3485 returns to his table. SCP-3485 then rolls the stolen pen back to Max to prompt a reaction, which Max ignores. After this, SCP-3485 is observed to have said something under his breath. Researchers believe that he said, ‘everything I’ve done for you…’ or ‘I’m done with you. SCP-3485 can be seen looking sad with more glances at Max. Max accidentally drops his pen, and bends down to pick it up, SCP-3485 can be seen staring both times. Justin is then talking to another ‘classmate’ when he tells a joke, he then turns to Max but quickly turns around again. The test is then aborted after an additional 10 minutes as time was running out. SCP-3485 can be seen happy as Max talks to SCP-3485 again after the test.

Notes: It seems like SCP-3485 craves interaction with Max, which is evident with the results above. But SCP-3485’s fascination with Max extends to some ‘desires’ which is evident when he stares when Max is retrieving his pen. Max may prove to be an important asset with manipulating SCP-3485.

Addendum 3485-b3 Experiment Log

Test Subject: SCP-3485

Date: ██/██/████

Procedure: Researchers attempt to create the gas that SCP-3485 emitted during incident c1 using the substance SCP-3485 creates.

Results: All attempts to recreate this gas has resulted in failure. When the solution is slowly heated to create a gas, it turns into water and methane. The original substance consisted of more compounds but is speculated to have turned into methane. Mixing the substance with a catalyst also results in the same outcome.

Notes: The gas may be only able to be created via SCP-3485’s body. Most funding for this project has been frozen, and only a tiny stream of funding is remaining.

Addendum 3485-c1 Incident Log

SCPs involved: SCP-3485

Personnel involved: NN, Dalsch, Beech, ABP, Will.

Date: 17/03/████

Location: ██████████ building in the memetic sector of the MAH containment chamber.

Description: Researcher personnel were conversing with SCP-3485 when SCP-3485 emitted flatulence which caused extreme discomfort in the present personnel. Present personnel then evacuated from the scene, with SCP-3485 chasing them. NN and Dalsch were cornered when Dalsch distracted SCP-3485. The two then took the opportunity to escape. NN called in MTF Eta-10 to detain SCP-3485. SCP-3485 then proceeded to ‘infect’ some of the personnel, which was never seen before. Beech and ABP were the first to be infected. The fates of these personnel are currently unknown. NN was found in the Armory with minor wounds when MTF arrived, while Dalsch and Will were found in the Containment Breach shelter.

Note: SCP-3485 was given class A and F amnestic. Beech and ABP were found in the courtyard unconscious. No signs of permanent damage were seen present but were seen to be dehydrated due to excessive vomiting and sweating. Changing his class to Euclid was a result of SCP-3485’s change of behaviour. His residence within the MAH containment chamber is being reconsidered as he could pose a threat to other SCPS, though it should be noted that Max was not present at the time.1
