Special Containment Procedures: Due to the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX, permanent containment is impossible. In the case of a confirmed sighting of SCP-XXXX, MTF Mu-13 ("Ghostbusters") is to be sent to the sighted location to set up a temporary quarantine site. Once SCP-XXXX is confirmed to have breached the quarantine, MTF Mu-13 is to immediately begin protocol XXXX/400 (See addendum XXXX-A).

SCP-XXXX-1 is currently held in a two story suburban house, located in ████, Ohio. No special equipment is required to hold SCP-XXXX-1 due to the anomalous properties of the entity holding it to this location so long as SCP-XXXX-2 also lives on the property. The home is to be quarantined and all windows are to be blocked in such a way that no visual perception is possible into the house. SCP-XXXX-2 is not to be aloud to leave the premise under any circumstance unless approved by project lead, Dr.██████. In the case SCP-XXXX-2 were to expire, a new target is to be introduced into the home within 24 hours. In the case this is not possible, MTF Mu-13 ("Ghostbusters") is to immediately begin protocol XXXX/401 (See addendum XXXX-B)

IMPORTANT NOTICE
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE IS ANYONE TO FORCIBLY REMOVE SCP-XXXX-2 FROM THE RESIDENCE SCP-XXXX-1 IS IN. (see retrieval log SCP-XXXX/1) REFUSAL TO FOLLOW THIS DIRECTIVE IS PUNISHABLE BY TERMINATION.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a seemingly humanoid entity, totally black in appearance and standing approximately 3 meters in height, with en-lengthened limbs and a head that is close to 3 times the size of a standard human one. It spends nearly all of its time stalking a target that it bonds itself with, henceforth known as SCP-XXXX-2. (The method in witch SCP-XXXX-1 "bonds" to its victims is currently unknown.) It hides in any area within the same room as SCP-XXXX-2, even if such areas would normally be physically impossible to fit the whole body of SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX-1 will only show itself to SCP-XXXX-2 when SCP-XXXX-2 is in a compromising position. (All known positions and SCP-XXXX-1's reactions are shown in Document XXXX-P) When it does so, SCP-XXXX-1 will proceed to stare directly into the eyes of SCP-XXXX-2 doing absolutely nothing until SCP-XXXX-2 reacts to the entities presence in some way. Depending on the reaction, SCP-XXXX-1 could react much like an upset human child. If SCP-XXXX-2 would react negatively, SCP-XXXX-1 will proceed to scream at a recorded 106 db while crying into SCP-XXXX-2's body, before retreating into the closest shadow. During this time SCP-XXXX-1 will begin "pouting" and will not re-manifest for several hours. A somber "crying" noise will be heard the entire time of this event (This event has been given the name "pouting" by the researchers assigned to SCP-XXXX), however, the source of the noise is impossible to verify, seemingly coming from every wall simultaneously while only being heard from the inside of the home.

In the case that SCP-XXXX-2 does not act in a negative way but instead a neutral, or even positive way, SCP-XXXX-1 will instead smile widely and "assist" in whatever task SCP-XXXX-2 was participating in. However if at any point SCP-XXXX-2 reacts negatively to SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-1 will begin lashing out in the way described earlier. Once the task is over, SCP-XXXX-1 will go back to hiding in the room SCP-XXXX-2 is in. In all such cases of positive interaction, SCP-XXXX-1 can be heard making high pitched "giggling" noises in a similar manner to the "crying" noises made during a pouting event.

Retrieval Log SCP-XXXX/1: SCP-XXXX-1 was first sighted by field agents on ██/██/1986, in the town of ███████,Wisconsin, after the police were notified of strange crying and laughing noises coming from the walls of the house of the ████ residence. The police found nothing, but after receiving multiple distressed calls from Mr.████ a field agent that was implanted into the █████ police decided to initiate an investigation. Upon further investigation it was determined that the young boy of the residence was being targeted by an unknown entity. At this point a containment team was dispatched to attempt to secure the entity, however, when the family was being amnesticized and removed from the residence for temporary holding, the containment team and family were [REDACTED]. At this point the entity was lost and MTF Mu-13 were called to capture the entity.

NOTE: It is advised to not attempt to forcibly remove the target of SCP-XXXX-1 in order to lessen the chance of a containment breach.

Addendum XXXX-A: Protocol XXXX-A shall be initiated as follows once SCP-XXXX is confirmed to have broken quarantine:

MTF Mu-13 is to begin searching an area of 16 Kilometers from the quarantine zone. Searches are to include reports of strange laughter or crying coming from the walls and sightings of a creature that appears while on the toilet.

Once found, MTF Mu-13 is to amnesticize the whole building and set up a temporary containment sight. The family of the house is to be removed and replaced with a D-class subject for testing and holding.

Addendum XXXX-B: Protocol XXXX-B shall be initiated as follows once SCP-XXXX-2 expires and no other substitute is readily available:
