Description: SCP-5000 is a Chess/Checkers board that was made from a yellow poplar tree stump that was discovered in the burnt house of a satanic cult leader in ████████, British Columbia in 1858. Everything in the house was burned and completely destroyed except for SCP-5000 which was found under a pile of rubble in the basement in perfect condition two months after the house burnt down The outside of the board is a 2 inch thick bark. The square markings for the actual board is burned onto it using a checkered metal grate.
Once someone touches SCP-5000 they have to find someone to play against in the next 24 hours, if failed to do so the person who came into contact with SCP-5000 will commit suicide the next day. Once a game has started you must finish the game, if one of the players stop playing both players will commit suicide the next day.
As soon as one of the two players using this board's king is put into checkmate their fate is sealed. Over the next few weeks the loser of the game will feel cornered and surrounded at all times. They will not be able to sleep. After a month goes by they will have lost sight on what is right and wrong. They will become violent and easily agitated. They won't remember anyone they used to know and they will never trust anyone. After two months of when they lost using SCP-5000 they will end their own life. The method for suicide is never the same. The exact moment that the loser of the game commits suicide the winner will dream of how the loser committed suicide every time they go to sleep. The winner of the match will then be driven to insanity after one month of watching the loser die every night in their sleep.
The only known way to escape the effects of SCP-5000 is for you to beat someone new using SCP-5000. If you lose against the new player you can not try again and escape its effects. Both previous players are able to escape the effects of SCP-5000. Multiple people are able to be under the effect of SCP-5000 at once.
It is unknown at the moment if the pieces are part of SCP-5000. In the case of the pieces being a part of it they've been given the name SCP-5000-1 for the black pieces and SCP-5000-2 for the white pieces.
Item #: SCP-5001 Nickname: "The Eyes"
Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedure:
SCP-5001 must be locked in a pitch black room at all times. The room must have no doors, the only way to enter SCP-5001's Containment Cell is by the hatch on the SCP's ceiling. The hatch leads to a small stairway that brings personnel to a small balcony to examine SCP-5001 from a safe distance. There must be strobe light on the ceiling continuously following SCP-5001. Then strobe lights activate if ever SCP-5001 tries to climb the walls or break it's restraints.
Description: SCP-5001 is a black arachnid type creature measuring at fifteen feet tall, twenty-three feet long, and weighs about one and a half thousand pounds. It's exoskeleton is made of an unknown material. It has been known to shed its exoskeleton every month to escape from its restraints. To keep SCP-5001 from escaping or harming anyone while re-applying its restraints after it sheds its exoskeleton personnel has begun to use mechanical restraints to hold it down while re-applying its restraints. If ever SCP-5001 starts to get to aggressive while restraining it the room will be sprayed with a citrus-like scent to get it to behave. Just like a regular spider SCP-5001 has eight legs. Each leg is equipped with thousands of tiny spines hidden by the hair of its legs that each seem to inject an unknown liquid that paralyzes whatever living creature that touches it.
SCP-5001 received the nickname: "The Eyes" from its strange black eyes that change place on its head every time it sheds its exoskeleton. SCP-5001 does not have a stomach so it doesn't need to eat but, it likes to rip out the organs of any creature that gets near it. It is as if SCP-5001 likes to torture its pray. SCP-5001 shows no interest in the dead. SCP-5001 seems to be able to mimic voices no matter what language they are speaking.
One month after discovering SCP-5001's voice mimicking ability SCP-5001 is able to speak and is able to answer simple questions. It has been discovered that certain questions anger SCP-5001. The current discovered questions that anger SCP-5001 are the following: What are you? Where did you come from? Are there more like you? Why do you hate light? Why don't you sleep?
Item #: SCP-5002 Nickname: Haunted Lighter
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-5002 is to be kept in a small room on a podium with a locked glass case over it.
*Description:** SCP-5002 is a small lighter about one and a half inches long. SCP-5002 was found in a pawnshop in ████████, Alberta. SCP-5002 resembles just a regular red lighter. SCP-5002 is a lighter that never runs out of fuel. While walking past SCP-5002's containment room in the night personnel say that the sounds of a lighter being lit and put out over and over again can be heard, but when checked SCP-5002 has not been moved. Personnel has installed security cameras in SCP-5002's containment room to discover the cause of the noise. Security footage seems to cut out every time the noises start coming from SCP-5002's room. Once the noise stops footage is immediately restored.
Audio from SCP-5002 that has been examined has revealed the voice of a man humming. Personnel has come to the conclusion that the man humming is the owner of the lighter. Personnel has given the man the name SCP-5002-1.
Item #: SCP-5003 Nickname: It Listens
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5003 is to be kept in a large room with speakers on the ceiling with the speakers constantly emitting a low pitch noise. SCP-5003 must be constantly restrained from each limb and its neck. Each restraint is weighed down to slow or completely stop SCP-5003 from moving.
Description: SCP-5003 is a humanoid creature discovered in ████████, British Columbia. SCP-5003 has long black hair, no reproductive organs, claws, and the sockets where its eyes should be are just covered by skin. X-rays show that SCP-5003 has no eye sockets in its skull. The bones of SCP-5003 are easily seen as if it is starving, but when given food SCP-5003 doesn't eat. When Discovered SCP-5003 could find its way around its surroundings easily as if it could see. Personnel has discovered that SCP-5003 uses echo location to find its way around. SCP-5003 is constantly whispering in an unknown language.
SCP-5003 was extremely violent and wild while being contained. SCP-5003 almost broke out of the steel crate it was sealed in. Personnel say that it was the extremely difficult to keep contained in the steel crate as it was being brought by SCP-151's containment cell. It has been discovered that high pitch noises send SCP-5003 into an intense state of rage, but low pitch noises calm it down. Personnel installed speakers in SCP-5003's containment cell to try and keep it calm. The low pitch noises produced by the speakers seem to make it so that SCP-5003 doesn't notice anything or anyone around it. Personnel are able to touch SCP-5003 without it knowing using the speakers.
Incidents: Three months after SCP-5003 was contained an incident occurred where a routine examination on SCP-5003 was underway. A personnel member left SCP-5003's containment cell door open so that a cleaner could enter and clean the room. SCP-131-1 and SCP-131-2 were with the cleaner while he was going to SCP-5003's containment cell trying to stop him from entering. The moment SCP-131-1 and SCP-131-2 entered SCP-5003's containment cell SCP-5003 went into a violent fit. Screeching, thrashing around, and even managed to break its neck and arm restraints. A doctor doing an examination on SCP-5003 tried to restrain it, but in doing so got slashed by the claw of SCP-5003 and died instantly. The doctor who died was Dr.█████. As soon as SCP-131-1 and SCP-131-2 left the containment cell SCP-5003 calmed down. The cleaner noticed this and reported it to the surviving personnel members from SCP-5003's fit. It has been discovered that the cause of the fit was the sound of SCP-131-1 and SCP-131-2 were making during the incident. Personnel has been advised to make sure SCP-131-1 and SCP-131-2 is not with them while going to examine SCP-5003.

Item #: SCP-5007 Nickname: The Boombox
Object Class: safe
Special Containment Procedures:
No containment procedure required
Description: SCP-5007 is a silver and red boombox weighing in 26 pounds and measuring at 33 inches long. SCP-5007 was located in a pawn shop in ████████, British Columbia. SCP-5007 is a boombox that can play any song in existence. The way to play the music is to type in the name of the song then the artists name on a keyboard on the front. If you type the name of a song then the name of a person you know of the song will play except it will have the person you typed in singing instead of the original artist. (This does not work with songs without lyrics) This has been tested with well known people, not well known people, and dead people. Personnel have been permitted to use SCP-5007 while in the cafeteria eating. Listening to SCP-5007's music does not appear to have any negative effects on its listeners, but instead it actually appears to make even the most negative person happy. The volume can not be changed manually SCP-5007 automatically changes the volume to the preference of its listeners. Attempts to damage SCP-5007 by hitting it with basic tools, throwing it from high places, and even shooting it have been unsuccessful. It would appear as if SCP-5007 is indestructible. A month after discovering SCP-5007 personnel have discovered a new ability of SCP-5007. It has the ability to use the voices of fictional characters for its music. If a person makes a fictional character with its own voice, personality, and name SCP-5007 will be able to use that character for its music.
