Special Containment Procedures: SCP XXX is to be kept in a 5.5 by 5-foot glass container filled with 85 gallons of 35ppt saltwater at standard room temperature at Area-13. The glass on this container should be of level-2UL1, and the room it is located in should remain locked at all times, except during testing or routine surveillance. SCP XXXX does not seem to need food, and does not emit any excretions, and therefore does not necessitate the cleaning of its tank. Following the events of Incident Log XXXX-1 all personnel working with, or around, SCP XXXX should seek to put at least 5 meters of space between themselves and it. Additionally, avoiding observation of SCP XXXX may help to minimize risk. Armed guards are to periodically check in on SCP XXXX, and any further incidents are to be reported.

Description: SCP XXXX is a member of the Scaridae family of fish2 that bears unique deformity on its head, giving it a resemblance to a human face. SCP XXXX was first located off the coast of ██████, California by a pair of local recreational divers. Embedded foundation agents learned of their encounter and moved to intercept, administering Class-B amnestics to the divers (who are now under surveillance), and alerting MTF Gamma 6 "Deep Feeders". SCP XXXX was captured with little to no resistance hours after the initial encounter, then shipped to Area-13.

SCP XXXX possesses reality-bending, and/or cognito-hazardous, properties, as seen in Incident Log XXXX-1. It has remained largely dormant since its initial capture, allowing foundation researchers a relatively detailed examination. SCP XXXX does not have any orifices apart from the ones visible in its 'face', and does not possess any ocular, electrical, olfactory, or auditory appendages, though does seem able to perceive objects and people in and outside of its container (see Incident Log XXXX-1). SCP XXXX is resistant to most forms of bodily harm, and possesses some attribute which renders X-ray and ultra-sound scans ineffective. SCP XXXX's inner anatomy remains a mystery, as does its origin and cognitive ability. The events of Incident Log XXXX-1 suggest a limited form of cognizance, and possibly sapience, though more research is needed to conclude the matter.
