Audio Transcribed by Dr. E████ for Safekeep in the Archives
Item #: SCP-4456

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
The subject is to be contained in a 7x7 room with constant surveillance, it is to wear a pair of red tinted goggles at all times except during experimentation, SCP-4456 is NOT to leave it's chamber without an accompaning guard and proper clearance, all requests by SCP-4456 are to be directed to Dr. E████ for approval. Should this be denied or approved such information must be relayed to it VERBALLY, all data gathering, interviewing, and record of SCP-4456 have to be done through video means or via audio recordings, no special materials seems to be needed to contain the subject.

Description:
The subject is an young Caucasian male of 16 years of age, with prominently white hair, seemingly because of stress, it has an average build and stands at 5ft 9in (1.76m) tall, and it has slightly above average intelligence for the average teenager, but most of this seems to be random trivia instead of actual specialization in any subject, he seems to have no internal or external deviations from an average human.

It has demonstrated the ability to adapt his body depending on the information he has read, displaying several manifestations of immunity to whatever literary knowledge he is given. The manifestation of such adaptations seems to vary on the whatever he has read. (See [Experiment Log - 003])

It seems that in order to have this adaptacions SCP-4456 needs to subcontiously consider the information given a threat to his phisical health, the adaptations of it do not appear on his body,  but still have a presense on it, such an example was displayed in [Experiment Log - 002] by being able to breath underwater with no form of gills or mutation appearing in his body

Thanks to [Experiment Log - 004] we also have realised that SCP-4456's ability only works in itself and has no effect if what he reads about happens through someone else

It should be noted that SCP-4456 requires what it would consider true information, [Incident Log - 02] showed that literature such as fantasy books and forms of sci-fi without bases on true science (or at least to it's knowledge) have no effect and will not create adaptations.

The literary knowledge that seems to work best on SCP-4456 to trigger his abilities are:

• Enciclopedias
• Magazines
• Panfflets
• Essays
• SCP Documents (but it has recently shown mistrust of this)

Subconcious seems to play a large roll on SCP-4456 since the misinterpretation of whatever he is reading will result in lacking adaptations (read [Experiment Log - 005])

Further research is required to verify if SCP-4456's abilities have any other way to manifest, on either offensive or external capabilities.
