Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a low-risk containment locker. Subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX are to be given standard stationary for use in testing.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Commodore 64 cartridge for, stayFROSTY, a side-scrolling puzzle horror game. SCP-XXXX's casing shows minimal impact wear, along with water damage on its label. No additional copies of this game have been recovered.

Gameplay consists of the player character searching through various areas of an abandoned town, during a snowstorm. Puzzles are strewn about each location, with 7 puzzles contained in each of its 19 notable locations. Following the Morgue section of SCP-XXXX, the difficulty of SCP-XXXX's puzzles drastically increase. Several solutions to puzzles reached as of Test #104 have involved nearly unnoticeable details, including the average cost of a specific bottle of wine, found in the Mansion - Basement area, during SCP-XXXX's narrative setting of 12/31/1993, as the mansion's safe combination. The method by which subjects have been able to come to these solutions have been found to correlate to the subject's obsessive tendencies.

SCP-XXXX's in-game goal is currently under investigation, as 23% of subjects playing the game perceive it as a alternate collectible, despite no insinuation of this on the game's part.
