General Ideas

Shade Ville¹

The remnants of a village that collapsed due to severe forest fires, all civilians now appear as figures of ash and shadow that only come out at night.

General Plot Points

• Anomaly found due to hikers and rangers reporting strange figures at night within a forest located in the United States
• Foundation got involved after a hiker reportedly held a conversation with and later led away by one of the entities
• Foundation fronts as a search and rescue team and keep the area on lockdown to investigate
• Hiker could not be located but their backpack and other items they had on hand were found outside of the ruins of a cottage
• Members of the initial team begin to report interactions with humanoid shadows, as well as other shadows that mimic local wildlife and domestic pets
• Investigation of the village proceeds after team members start to go missing at night, with their items appearing in front of other cottages
• Foundation eventually fences off the area around the village and classifies it as an SCP, connecting it and the shadow figures

Containment and Interviews

• Contained via chain link fences and high voltage lights around the village [will definitely be more fleshed out]
• Likely interviewing a 'leader' type figure, and also a child-like figure

Characters

Dr. ███████ 'Normael' Cosmosis²

An on-site therapist with an affinity for space, and very knowledgable about that type of stuff. Also has a strange ability to make coworkers in the facility view them as a paternal figure in their workspace and often request his help.

GOI: Merit Onlookers Society³

Comprised of a sibling duo, Lavender and Oleander [both likely aliases] are freelance journalists that manage to find out about and document anomalous items through blog posts, using their own system for danger and containment, and they frequently list their sources and companies they've worked with. There is also a third member that posts on the blog that Oleander and Lavender seem unaware of, and has so far not made any alias known.

Known members

• Lavender Crow: Writing suggests that they may be the younger of the two, using slang terms in their documents. Sign off their documents with ' - LC ♥ '
• Oleander Crow: Writing suggests that they are more mature and possibly the older sibling. They are clinical in tone and write in a professional manner. They do not sign off their posts with anything, but they do tag their blog posts with 'Oleander'
• Unknown: Likely an older family member of Lavender and Oleander. Writing suggests malicious intent towards the two, likely wanting to ruin their statuses among the people that hire them, and they will imply that Lavender and Oleander are anomalous themselves, and also concludes that they themself are as well. They do not sign off their posts with anything other than tagging them with ' Crow '.

General Plot Points

• Lavender and Oleander will likely make minuscule appearances in documents written by me
