Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5189 "The Wendigo must be contained in a one mile by one mile underground forest contained within a cell. SCP-5189 must have a minimum of five Class-D released into the cell at all times to try and survive SCP-5189, and to try and study it firsthand. The forest must have lights in place that simulate day and night. There must be a cave within the forest, to make sure it can sleep there.

Description: SCP-5189 "The Wendigo" resembles a seven foot tall humanoid, with fur, certain pieces of flesh missing, showing bone, a deer skull where a head should be, and large sharp bony claws.

Addendum: SCP-5189 when harmed, will run away, and after about five seconds, will enter a state of rage, and will begin to slaughter anything in it's path. When it was retrieved, there was an incident, when it was shot multiple times by our retrieval teams, it began to run around slaughtering hundred of innocent civilians, in the city of [REDACTED], [REDACTED].

It was first encountered in America, when it then went to Canada, very close to one of our sites.

It has a powerful ability, in which living things suffer from effects such as: The quickening of starvation, quickening of dehydration, hearing things, seeing things, the inability to sleep, going insane, murderous tendencies, and thinking the creature, when seen, is human.

The creature also has the ability to mock any creature, most commonly humans, like another creature we've contained.
