Special Containment Procedures: Due to the stationary nature of the object, containment within a facility is highly improbable. For the time being, an improvised site, dubbed 'Site XXXX-Alpha', has been set up under the guise of a United States Coast Guard outpost. Any civilians who are caught trespassing are to be treated with Class A amnestics and given a false recollection of their time at Site XXXX-Alpha. If any civilian or other unauthorized personnel come within SCP-XXXX's activation range, they must be immediately terminated. No fewer than 30 guards are to be posted at all times, all wearing the current standard fatigues of the United States Coast Guard, and must have Polynesian or other Pacific Islander ancestry, totaling no less than 12.5% of their DNA. Researchers on site are also required to have similar ancestry, to prevent activation of the object in its hostile state. At least one Researcher is to be posted at all times who is fluent in the pseudo-atlantean language created for communications with the object, in case of an event.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid automaton of unknown creation. It stands at roughly 31 meters in height (101 feet), approximately 10 meters of which are encased in the ground beneath it. Due to its composition of several common minerals found in the area, it is currently unknown how SCP-XXXX is able to enter its activated state, move, and understand as well as mimic human speech. SCP-XXXX is adorned with ornate, albeit primitive carvings common to those created by the Malangan people of Papua New Guinea, and carbon dating has revealed it to be approximately █████ years old. While no human life is present within 50 meters, SCP-XXXX remains inactive, no matter the situation (See Addendum Experiment Log XXXX-3). If a human enters it's activation range, SCP-XXXX will become active, and seemingly 'Scan' the human. If the Human is of at least 12.5% Polynesian or Pacific Islander descent, then SCP-XXXX will remain docile, and simply wait for instructions. If the human does not meet this criteria, SCP-XXXX will enter it's hostile state, and attempt to terminate the individual. Communication with the object has not yet yielded a possible resolution for this behavior. (See Interview Log XXXX-B for further details.) Since SCP-XXXX is lodged in the ground, its effective range is limited to how far it can reach (Approximately 18.5 meters), and for the time being does not pose a threat to anyone outside of this reach. History: SCP-XXXX was discovered by a group of fishermen fishing off the coast of [REDACTED] in 1987. Foundation personnel stationed undercover in the United States Navy heard rumors of a great stone creature while on a routine resupply, and reported it to Site-56H as per protocol. Standard media suppression techniques as well as Class A Amnestics were administered to those who witnessed the object, and Site-XXXX Alpha was created around the object. Since coming into found
