NOT SCP-4456

Item #: SCP-4456
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4456 is kept within a standard item locker. Testing is currently suspended.

Description: SCP-4456 refers to a standard-issue, "Lux"-brand kitchen timer. It is white in color and shows no traces of use. When used, SCP-4456 will begin counting down seconds instead of minutes. During this time, the subject that used the timer will gain superhuman speed, maximum recorded running speed being 21.6 m/s within the first cycle of the timer. When the hand of SCP-4456 reaches 0, the user will be wounded according to the time which the timer was used for. The wounds range from minor bruises in a span of 0-5 seconds to laceration to the point of termination at 60 seconds. If the clock is spun beyond 60 seconds, the effect of SCP-4456 will increase with every 360 degrees spun. The timer running out will then not only cause harm to the subject, but also the environment. Hand-grenade-like explosions have been recorded in the third cycle of SCP-4456. Maximum destructive capacity of SCP-4456 is currently unknown, although researchers expect it to be able to destroy a block of houses within the tenth cycle.
SCP-4456 was recovered in idk county, idk where and idk when.
