The lake containing —- must be patrolled at all time by at least 30 foundation security officers split into groups of 2. anyone attempting to enter the lake, or the nearby area are to be turned away under the pretence of water contamination in the lake. The cave itself is covered by steel grates, each bar is 16 inches in diameter and 8 inches apart these grates are repeated every 16m throughout the cave.
Description.
—- is an underwater cave located in the amazon rain forest approximately 1km in length, 16m in height and 8m in width, It leads to an exit in a cliff side lake facing a field of black grass, traveling 290 miles in any direction from the centre of the field will lead to the top of the cliff found at the entrance. The area found at the opposite side of the cave cannot be accessed any other way and the day night cycle along with the flora and fauna are completely different to anything found elsewhere leading the foundation to believe it to be a spatial anomaly.
The anomaly is believed to be influenced by observation from living things from our side of the cave as the physical properties, fauna and flora of the anomaly began the same as our side of the cave and it contained signs of intelligent life including a small town, a factory, a warehouse and paved roads however over time it has become distorted, currently the day night cycle inside the anomaly is irregular with the days being anywhere in the range of 14-77 hours and the nights in the range of 26-104 hours and is currently inhabited by 3 types of fauna -1,-2 and -3, all of which are extremely aggressive. -1 is a bipedal creature it has dark red skin with an average height of 7ft, a muscular build, its legs and arms are disproportionately large compared to the rest of its body with its legs being an average of 5ft and its arms 6ft with its torso only averaging at 1.6ft and its head 0.4ft. -2 is an avian creature, it has colourful feathers with a wingspan of 3ft and length of 2 ft, however its face is similar to that of a mammals with a nose, mouth and teeth similar to that of a humans with a disproportionally large round head with an average diameter of 15 inches and razor sharp talons. -3 is a quadrupedal creature, it has a pale white hide and stands at an average of 5ft, a width of 3ft and a length of 7ft, it has a muscular build with especially muscular hind legs similar to that of a brown bear, and has razor sharp canine teeth with a disproportionately large snout. The flora inside the anomaly is similarly non diverse with their only being 6 different species, tall dark blue trees that grow in dense forests and stand around 20ft tall with yellow leaves, short black grass covering most of the landscape, tall black roses spread throughout the anomaly, short tan buttercups spread similarly to the roses, dark red moss that grows on the side of buildings and covers most of the roads and buildings and white vines which hang down from some of the trees and buildings.
Addendum 1- discovery and exploration
The anomaly was initially brought to the foundation’s attention in 2001 a foundation informant overheard a cave diver talking about the anomaly to a tour guide. The first team the foundation sent in consisting of 2 class E personnel observed the fauna and flora of the anomaly to be extremely diverse and consisted of only known animals and plants. The second team consisting of 2 class E personnel and 6 class D personnel was sent in by the foundation to collect samples of the soil, fauna and flora and to explore the inside of the anomaly however the class D personnel never returned after the transport vessel was attacked by several instances of —-1 and the 2 E class' piloting the ship fled the anomaly before the D class could return, The third team consisting of 2 class E personnel and 6 class D personnel was sent in to recover the previous team however they found the anomaly to be in its current condition, only 3 D class and the 2 class E personnel returned after they managed to retrieve several samples of fauna and flora as well as video logs of the second team however the second team D class were all confirmed dead. The foundation has halted anymore expeditions into the anomaly and has blocked the cave off completely.

"Day one, the time is 7:00 am, the transport vessel has arrived on the other side of the cave were currently preparing to set out and explore the anomaly, it looks pretty nice out there, I seen a couple of sheep grazing on the field surrounding the lake, this is the first time I’m kinda looking forward to an assignment the foundations given me."
"day two, the time is 1:26 pm, the 2 E class stayed behind to look after the sub, we travelled about 20 miles yesterday until we found a small town, its completely empty though, it’s a shame would've been nice to speak to someone not from the foundation, we checked through the full town and found the houses are all fully furnished and the stores are fully stocked, someone definitely lived here, its creepy this place seems like a paradise there’s pigs, chickens and all kinds of animals grazing, colourful flowers everywhere but everyone’s just gone."
"day seven, the time is 8:00am according to my watch but it’s still dark out, and the flowers are all dead and one of the other D class said he saw a black patch of grass, there’s something fucked going on here but we know whatever’s out here can’t be worse than what the foundation will do if we abandon the mission, we've only got one week left till we head back to the sub anyway."
"day nine, I don’t even know what the time is my watch says its 11pm but the suns in the middle of the sky there’s definetly something fucky about this place, the grass is mostly black now, there’s no flowers at all anymore and the leaves have fell off most of the trees, we’ve travelled about 200 miles now I think, we’ve collected all the samples they wanted so we just need to explore the place for another couple days and then we can head back so at least it’s not that bad."
"day 12, its clear this place is just fucking with us now, its 2pm on my watch but its only sunrise, I looked out the window and there’s no longer any animals I know but some fucked combinations of them, then again the sheep pig was pretty cute but one of the D classes got charged by some bear wolf thing we managed to kill it but fucking hell was it scary and all the trees grew to be 20ft tall with yellow leaves, I just want out of this fucked place."
"day 13, this place is an absolute mind fuck, time clearly doesn’t matter anymore but my watch says its 6pm, all the friendly animals are gone it’s just these fucking abominations left, I saw one of the other D classes get ripped in 2 by a 7ft tall creature, it looked like a bipedal ape but just wrong, it had massive legs, it ran up to him so fast, there was nothing any of us could do but run, 4 of us managed to get away but another one of us got clawed to shit by a bird with a face before we managed to shoot it, he told us just to leave him behind, I honestly don’t know if any of us are getting out of this alive."
"Those foundation cunts just left us stranded, we somehow wound up on top of the cliff we started at the bottom of, we could see the sub, we decided to jump, what else could we do, at least wed have a chance of surviving the drop walking all the way back was certain death. Just as we were about to jump about 20 of those 7ft fuckers all started running across the field towards the sub, banging on the metal with those massive fucking arms, then the cunts ran away, all we can do now is find shelter for now and figure out what to do"
"day 17, I honestly don’t know why I’m still making this, one of those bear looking things got another one of the D-class', but at least we’ve managed to find shelter in the basement of a house, our supplies are only meant to last us a month so were gonna have to get out to the store down the street but the place is crawling with those fucking things and the roads are covered with red moss, its looking pretty bleak for us"
"day 25, the other D class left to try and get supplies 2 days ago and he still hasn’t come back, at least he left the supplies he had here so I’ve got another couple days’ worth of food left at least before I have to try and go out there and face those fuckers"
