Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a locked, sound-proof container on Foundation-Site 15. Access to said object is exclusive to personnel of Clearance level 3 or higher. If experimental research with SCP-XXXX is desired, previous gain of permission and consultation by said personnel is mandatory. During tests involving SCP-XXXX, apart from test subjects, all individuals are promted to refrain from direct interaction with SCP-XXXX by all means. Any person that fails in doing so is to be administered with Class-C amnestics immediately after any incidents regarding SCP-XXXX. Moreover any testing chambers utilized in experimental studies on SCP-XXXX are to be locked prior to any procedures. In the event of SCP-XXXX-2 manifesting itself within said test chamber during experimentation, the chamber is to remain locked for at least 12 hours after the incident.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a traditional cellphone identified as a Nokia 1011 of model NHE-2XN, manufactured in 1994. Though decades old it reveals little to no signs of usage and remained in functionally good condition up to this date with an interface that can be interacted with normally. Anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX will start to manifest when any living human enters close proximity with said object (about 6 meters). Upon entering SCP-XXXX's area of effect, after 10 to 40 seconds recorded, the cellphone will start ringing with the interface revealing no information on caller or calling number.
Test subjects, prompted to pick up the incoming call were shown to experience sudden worry, disorientation, paranoia and sometimes panic shortly after taking note of incoming signals. When asked, they would claim to feel very uncomfortable and unsafe within the current environment. Many subjects have requested to visit the
nearest toilet or any other closed facility nearby shortly after taking the call. If denied, symptoms of paranoia and anxiety would increase progressively up to a point at which subjects enter a state of total schizophrenia and complete mental incapacity (typically 2-3h), unable to communicate to researchers in any way.
If subjects are given the option to retreat into a pre-built closed facility within the camber, they would lock themselves into the installation and neither return, nor respond to any inquiries outboards. Chambers, that have been entered by force after at least two minutes reveal a pitch-black room, the entire interior covered in a substance, revealed as ash with the test subject missing from the scene entirely.
Though transparent pre-installments into the room have not shown success in inspecting subjects due to said individuals asserting a lack of safety, hidden cameras have managed to record happenings to a limited extent.¹
As of this entry no traces of missing subjects have been found within the rooms and despite suggesting evidence, neither researchers from outside, nor the cameras within have made record of a fire igniting anytime during testing procedures.

Foreword: Subject listened to SCP-XXXX for 36 seconds before hanging up and urging a site-wide emergency lockdown. The request was deined. Further inquiry into exchanged information were granted under conditions given by the subject that assured sufficient protection and isolation from the assumable offender. Head-reseracher Douglas complied, providing an unmodified keter containment-cell guarded by two armed personnel within for the following interview.

Reseracher Hobel: Very well then. Please have a seat and let us begin.
D-13334F: You guys really don't spare any efforts with these installations, I must say…
Reseracher Hobel: Well you know, precaution is a virtue here anyways. Now then, please describe what information you've be-
D-13334F: (chuckles) It's perfect, real-
Reseracher Hobel: We need to begin now, 34-F. Please describe what information you've been given during the call.
D-13334F: Well… I've been told everything in an instant… There was no time to react. You know, like a quick little chime.
Reseracher Hobel: Can you further elaborate on this? What were the contents of what you've been told exactly?
D-13334F: It… It wasn't as much content really. It was more like a… revelation, reve-… I- can you give me a sec? (leaning head into his arms)
Reseracher Hobel: Take your time.
(fifteen seconds pass)
D-13334F: The realization that it is all hopeless. I… no. The chamber. Is it locked?
Reseracher Hobel: The chamber has been locked for the duration of this interview.
D-13334F: (stands up) Open it, quick! Please! No, this is not good.
(guards enter defensive stance)
Reseracher Hobel: Please remain calm, 34-F. I assure you that nothing in he-
D-13334F: No you don't understand, it's here with us, fuck, FUCK, IT'S HERE, IT'S-

Closing Statement: Chamber was found with the entire interior covered in a rougly 0.2 mm layer of ash with both Hobel and D-Class as well as both security guards missing. A tape recorder containing audio from the interview has been found, retrieved and transcribed.
