Object Class: Euclid Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a room big enough for all of its vessels, with standard containment protocol of sapient Euclid-class beings to be followed. All personnel must have a cognitive resistance test administered and Class-4 approval to gain access to its residence. The Foundation is not responsible for any results of such interactions, and any affected individuals are considered lost and will remain in the containment cell as a part of SCP-XXXX.

Despite being a single entity, SCP-XXXX has proven quite difficult to contain; containment procedures have been revised in an attempt to stop the spreading of its effect. Any and all instances of SCP-XXXX that occur are to be very carefully transported to an underground facility, specifically designed to confine and control its primary effect. All personnel handling or viewing the entity must have a CRV (Cognitive Resistance Value) of at least 5.0, and any unauthorized interactions with it will be terminated as quickly as possible to prevent further growth and advancement of the entity. Conversations with it are now forbidden with the only exception being the approval of the O-5 Council. Failure to follow these containment procedures could result in a CK End-Of-Humanity-Scenario, if SCP-XXXX fulfills its goal. Should a containment breach occur, the entire facility is to go under complete lockdown, and any living beings within the facility are considered lost and are to be never recovered.

Description: Simply put, SCP-XXXX is a single consciousness that has the ability to eliminate other sapient beings' minds, resulting in complete ego death. After the ego death has reached its finality, SCP-XXXX will spread its own consciousness to that particular vessel. This effect appears to have no limit to how many vessels it can manipulate at once, however, previous experiments show the subject has to be intelligent enough for self awareness and operate off of more than instincts. There are currently 54 known instances of it still alive, all of which are contained within the foundation facility. The entity has its own personality, and is almost always described as very charismatic and charming. Soon after initial interactions with the being, an individual has a strange feeling of unease yet desire to get closer to it. SCP-XXXX claims to have no control over its effects. SCP-XXXX uses these characteristics to lure in more beings to take under its control.

Log of Incident -XXXX-1-C
When first discovered by foundation personnel on █/█/20██, SCP-XXXX was only introduced itself as [COGNITOHAZARD REMOVED] and was friendly and benevolent in manner, it even willingly submitted itself to containment within the foundation and allowed many experiments to be performed on it. Initially was classified as Euclid, due to its apparent lack of malevolent intent, with its main goal being "world peace". Little did we know what it truly meant by this. SCP-XXXX told researchers that it could not control its spread, yet it fails to see why us "single minded beings" did not want it to spread to begin with. (note: SCP-XXXX avoids using pronouns that refer to itself in all situations, believed to be caused by its existence as an abstract consciousness, it uses a single name for itself, which was, after Event-XXXX-1-C, discovered to be a K-class cognitohazard allowing for faster and more efficient spread of the entity and was subsequently wiped from all existing data)

*Dr████. enters the containment cell of SCP-XXXX*

SCP-XXXX: *using a single vessel to speak* Have you come to converse, Doctor?
Dr.████: I have indeed, there are many inquiries we have about your exact nature.
SCP-XXXX: *laughs ominously, this appears to deeply unsettle Dr.████* Of course you do, you single minded beings do not comprehend much of this universe.
Dr.████: And you do?
Dr.████: *a look of extreme shock appears on Dr.████'s face*That… that name… What is this? What are you?!
SCP=XXXX: All will become clear in time. I willingly brought myself to this facility for a reason
Dr.████: *a blank and seemingly lifeless expression manifests on Dr.████'s face, then he shakes it off*… it is clear now. This interview is now concluded. (note: Dr.████ gets up and walks out immediately, the staff who witnessed the interview from a remote location notified security of this strange behavior, before cancelling the call for security.)
*a few armed D-Class personnel are sent to investigate the camera room, they find it deserted*
D-1584: *speaking to command center* Possible containment breach in Site-██
D-1584:*shaky breathing*… I can hear it calling for me.. get us out of here!! *The D-class scream, then are dead silent*
(Full K-Class containment breach lockdown initiated immediately, many casualties of both Foundation staff and SCP-XXXX vessels occur, SCP-XXXX was coaxed into a trap and all of its bodies were contained at once)

Addendum: Incident-XXXX-1-C not only caused SCP-XXXX to be reclassified, but made the Foundation reconsider safety precautions necessary to contain such entities. Other SCPs are being considered to be used on cognitohazards, especially extreme ones, like SCP-XXXX. We cannot even properly terminate it, as we don't know what would happen if we eliminate all living vessels, so it remains locked up deep underground. The O-5 unanimously agreed that there is no benefit to further testing and interaction with it, so all access is now forbidden unless given approval by the O-5 itself.
