Item#: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept on a wall of any available room. Two (2) security personnel are to be stationed at SCP-XXXX's door on guard duty. Since SCP-XXXX posesses no abilities or properties harmful to humans or any other creature, no additional containment procedures are required. However, knowledge pertaining to what SCP-XXXX indicates at any given time is restricted to Level 4 clearence personnel and higher except as authorised by at least two members of the Overseer Council, including this document.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an analogical wall clock of unknown design. It was found by undercover Foundation Agent Michelle ████ at the ███ ████'█ Pawn Shop in ██████, United States on 12/█/194█. Agent ████ was off-duty and looking for antiques to purchase, when she found it in the local pawn shop. The shop's owner complained that although the main hand can be moved manually, it always resets itself to a set time. Owner also complained that the hands cannot be broken off by any known means. Agent ████ purchased the clock and brought it to nearby Site-55 where it is currently contained.
After a number of tests SCP-XXXX underwent, including attempts to detonate it with ██ tons of dynamite, it has been determined that SCP-XXXX is indeed invulnerble to any known means. SCP-XXXX has kept changing the positions of its small and big hands since the original containment date on 12/█/194█. Twenty-six such events have occured as of the date of this article's last edit on █/█/20██ (see Document XXXX-1).

Addendum XXXX/a: It has been observed that any and all changes SCP-XXXX displays are directly correlated to major events that occur in the outside world, such as war, sanctions on nuclear powers or allies of such powers and natural cataclisms including Global Warming and pollution. Any increase in world tension and SCP-XXXX's main hand grows closer to indicating midnight, presumed to represent an XK-Class End-of-the-World Scenario.
Addendum XXXX/b: It is currently debated inside the Overseer Council if The Foundation should inform world leaders of SCP-XXXX's changes following crises that produce such a reactiona from SCP-XXXX.
