Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained inside of a standard containment locker. A cloth is to be draped over the object during storage and transport of the object. Only D-Class Personnel are to enter SCP-XXXX's chamber during testing.
No personnel are to enter SCP-XXXX's chamber unless given authorized clearance by a level 3 researcher. Any researchers assigned to SCP-XXXX are to undergo routine psychological evaluations for signs of Narcissistic personality disorder. Any personnel that display symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder are to be given Class-C Amnestics.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an antique, body length mirror framed in gold with the name ██████ ████ engraved on the back, as well as a message that states "Am I Cool Now?" . SCP-XXXX was originally recovered by Mobile Task Force Eta-10 ("See No Evil") during a raid on the house of ██████, a former anartist that had created multiple other works for AWCY, such as SCP-████ and SCP-████.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects will begin to manifest upon viewing SCP-XXXX's reflection for longer than 15 minutes, the individual1 that viewed the reflection will begin to undergo severe changes to their personality. Individuals infected by SCP-XXXX will begin to develop symptoms that are similar to that of Narcissistic personality disorder. SCP-XXXX-1 will see themselves as being a "perfect human", they will find no faults with themselves, and constantly blame others for mistakes and problems.
Prolonged exposure to SCP-XXXX's reflection will eventually result in the viewer becoming so infatuated with themselves that they will refuse to take their eyes of the own reflection, even ignoring basic bodily functions and needs. Eventually these individuals will perish due to dehydration and starvation. If the mirror is removed from SCP-XXXX-1's gaze after prolonged exposure, the subject will become hostile and attempt to retrieve the mirror. SCP-XXXX-1 will quickly become docile upon seeing their reflection.
