Item #: SCP-5313
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5313 is to be contained in a room no less than 10 x 10 m as it becomes claustrophobic in a room smaller than that. Toys, both normal and cat toys, as well as recreational items, such as pencils, crayons, markers and construction paper, are to be provided and rotated every week, except for the small bear he tends to sleep with at times, as it seems to get bored of them very quickly. SCP-5313 is allowed to roam around site 16 whenever Dr. Right allows, but is not to be let out of sight. Meals shall be provided three(3) times a day and snacks are allowed if requested, or if blood sugar is low. Bedding, bathroom and medical facilities are to be maintained at all times
His main "caretaker", Dr. Right, is to be with him at all times while he is out, and is to be notified whenever SCP-5313 is coming out of his cell.
A nap time curfew is also to be provided as it's been observed to become irritable after six(6) hours of being awake.
Any contact with SCP-5313 is allowed, so long as 5312 itself allows said contact.
Description: SCP-5313 is a 16-year old half lion, half human humanoid. The only notable features of it being half lion would be it's lion ears, tail and claws. It's slit pupils, however, indicate that he may be part domesticated house cat as well as it's fascination for cat toys. SCP-5313 is relatively quiet, but speaks whenever spoken to. It seems to learn as it watches researchers outside it's containment cell, so Dr. Right has begun to "homeschool" it, teaching it things like math, science as well as history and astronomy, through the window of it's containment cell.
SCP-5313 has seemed to have taken a liking to astronomy particularly and regularly asks Dr. Right if he could have scissors to cut out stars with construction paper. This request, of course, is always denied for obvious reasons.
Note: May be a very distant relative of SCP-953. -Dr. Right
