Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept inside a CNSI containment locker at Site 19, removal of SCP-XXXX from it’s containment locker is to only be permitted by two (2) off-site Level 4 Senior Researchers. Testing is to be restricted to only Level 4 Researchers.

Due to SCP-XXXX’s decay, SCP-XXXX is to be “fed” a subject everyday and the subject is to kept in the unresponsive state for only 24 hours.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an old stopwatch made up of everything that a normal stopwatxh would be made out of, with the exception of the minutes hand and seconds hand which are to be designated as SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX’s frame does not contain any branding or logos embedded into it, however SCP-XXXX-1 has the words “Share” embedded into it and SCP-XXXX-2 has “Care” embedded into it.

SCP-XXXX’s anomalous properties activate when a subject activates the stopwatch, when activated the subject’s body ceases and goes into an unresponsive state. When SCP-XXXX is activated, SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 start to turn clockwise, it’s speculated that SCP-XXXX is counting the time it takes for the subject to become responsive. Multiple subjects holding SCP-XXXX are not affected, and the only one who is affected is the one who activates SCP-XXXX. The only effective way of getting a subject out the unresponsive state, is to deactivate SCP-XXXX.

When SCP-XXXX is in it’s deactivated state, it begins to decay at a rate faster than normal stopwatches, but when activated, the decay halts and stops even after it’s been deactivated. When deactivated, SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 turn counter clockwise, presumably counting down the time from when it was activated to when it was deactivated. When SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 stop turning, the decay resumes.

Recovery: SCP-XXXX was recovered in an EBay listing that didn’t mention it’s anomalous properties, the listing was bought by Senior Researcher ████ and learned of its anomalous properties when he tried to time the amount of minutes it would take him to get yelled at by O5-█, the researcher accompanying ████ activated SCP-XXXX and went into a unresponsive state, and yet, it took an hour and a half for ████ to contain SCP-XXXX.
