Special Containment Procedure: SCP-XXXX is to be have a large warehouse-like structure around it at all times. SCP-XXXX must be monitored through CCTV by site personnel at all times so as to make sure the SCP does not disappear. Surveillance equipment of SCP-XXXXs other side must be kept functional at all times to monitor SCP-XXXX-A/B/C as to ensure they do not awaken. SCP-XXXX-A/B/C are to have their monitoring equipment changed every 3 years in our dimension or roughly 9 inside of the object. Such equipment includes thermometers and Richter scales, these are to be connected through wireless means back to the main portal of SCP-XXXX so as to not cause disruption to the natives or world of SCP-XXXX. Any drastic changes in the vital signs of SCP-XXXX-A/B/C is to immediately be reported to the the site director and await further instruction.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a elongated spherical shaped portal of red and purple colour being roughly 10 feet in height and floating a few inches above the ground. It is located near ██████ UK. The portal slowly moves around in a random pattern never moving too far from its presumed point of origin. The red centre of the object seems to always be visible from all angles despite the outer layer of purple being opaque and seemingly absorbing all light in contact with it. The object can seemingly act as a bridge to a separate dimension, items can be transported with no negative effect and objects such as wires function across the portal again with no known negative effects. Such a portal also can be found on the other side however it is stationary and resides in a cave atop a mountain.
The inhabitants of the dimension within SCP-XXXX seem to have access to what they call magic, acting very similarly to the way of fairy tales on earth. Due to the existence of such magic the
more advanced creatures of this land also have access to such skills, as well as there being many humanoid species inhabiting these lands. It is lead to believe that these inhabitants and creatures may be the cause of such folk tales spread around during medieval times in the UK.
SCP-XXXX-A/B/C are large creatures of various size SCP-XXXX-A being 117km in length, -B being 89km and -C at 72km, though exact sizes are unknown. These large reptilian like creatures appear to be in a form of sleep or coma, unable to awaken unless provoked by means yet unknown. These sleeping giants have been in such a state for what we assume to be around 2300 years due to the extensive foliage and wildlife living on their spiny backs which protrude from the ocean.
