Special Containment Procedures:
Due to its size (estimated at ████ km), SCP-8762 can not and will almost certainly never
be contained - no structure on Earth large enough or strong enough to contain SCP -8762.
The location of SCP-9052 is not known accurately, but image satellites and geological
shocks analysis surrounding SCP-8762 indicate that it is in the northern Pacific Ocean
(see Appendix 8762-XFC-1).
Any satellite footage of the relocation of lands produced by SCP-169 will be cut off and
destroyed by the rescuers.
Description: SCP-8762 has the shape of a dinosaur with upright stance, scaly skin, a
muscular body with many rows of thorns on its back and tail, with eyes twisting. It
(SCP-8762) is said to have first appeared on ██ /██ /19██ after a nuclear test called
████████ on Bikini Island, Hawaii (which took place at 9am on the 16th /7/1945)
Appendix [8762-XFC-1]:
Day ██ / ██ / 19██, Dr. ███████ and Dr. ██████ are called to a quarry in ████████, where
a skeleton Two Eggs - Body objects have been discovered. Shortly after one of the
egg-shaped objects hatched, the nuclear power plant near Tokyo, Japan suffered a blast
and radioactive leak. The quake caused people around the area to evacuate and quarantine
the area around the nuclear power plant.
Dr. ██████ assumed that this incident was caused by one of two non-living organisms.
(Although the original Dr. ██████ believes that this incident was the result of sudden
power surges in the plant causing a series of explosions and melting of the reactor core)
The theory was confirmed when a Mobile Task Force Gamma-6 squadron reported on seeing a
giant tail emerging from the ocean. (Confirmation of the "tail" that is from SCP-8762)
- A scout task performed by the USS ████████ (near SCP-8762's "tail" appearance) revealed
that the radiation was four times higher than normal. Funds are put in immediately to
start threat management.

Appendix [8762-OXR-2]:
On May 19, 1997, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Pacific
Ocean Equinox Underwater Sensor detected a strange sound at an extremely low frequency
( ELF = 3Hz -> 3kHz) emanating from about ██ºS █ ██ºW, about ████km to the
southwest, Pacific.
The groundbreaking analysis concludes that a giant aquatic organism is the source of that
noise, and SCP-8762 is hypothesized to be its source, since its "head" may also be in
positions Possible of the rest of SCP-8762. Sound confirmed hypothesis of ███████ that
SCP-8762 has a gigantic size. Future efforts of scientific or civil groups to determine
the source of noise must be stopped by any means necessary.
