Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X is contained on Military Site-███'s armory,
and on research Site-██ in a special locker, to which only staff with level 3 or above
clearence have access. The lockers have to be supervised at all times to
avoid "identity theft" and other likely scenarios.
Description: SCP-X is a set of mannequins, labeled from SCPX-1 through SCPX-26. Inserting human hair into the mannequins' scalp will transform them into the owner of the hair, gaining the exact physical traits and knowledge as the original. While having full consciousnes of being "fake", specimens of SCPX can't differenciate between other transformed instances or their original counterpart. SCPX also have their own memories, which can be transferred only to the original host. There is a lid on the nape of each mannequin, which reveals a panel. On the panel, there is a
USB 3.0 port, a button, and a hole with the exact diameter of an aspirin pill. The memories can be viewedon any electronic device.
When the person to whom SCPX thransforms digests the pill coming out of the nape, they regain the memories the mannequin got after activation. If the period from the activation of SCPX or the takeaway of a pill is less than a week, the subject immediately gets knocked out and regains all the knowledge of SCP-X in 1-14 hours (depending on the ammount of data to be processed), otherwise the person has to relive the events SCPX witnessed in form of dreams, reliving a day for each time the person goes asleep.
SCPX was found in a barber shop in ██/██/20██, Poland, after several cases were reported, where
"people have met themeselves walking on the street". The owner of the shop said they were already there when he opened busines, but found out later what the anomaly is capable of. After the recovery of SCPX, the townsfolk were given class A amnestics.
Note: From now on, we are PUNISHING people for using SCPX too frequently. They may appear to be theperfect substitutes for any living subjects, but they are too precious for us to stake them. Tests will not be useful, at least with other SCPs, since other objects behaved with them like they were the humans they portrayed. They can't be used for more than 4 days a month because of the side effects of the pill. And for fuck's sake, don't miss important meetings by using SCPX.
