Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained in a two story suburban house. The house is disguised with a dry wood termite tent to ward off any potential trespassers. Any Foundation personnel performing experiments with SCP-XXXX are to be disguised as exterminators for the purpose of keeping all experiments secret from the public.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a dark hallway located in ██████████, inside a house that is dated back to the 1920s. It is a two story house that is around 6.7 meters tall, and is around 225 meters squared in area. Upon entering the house if a person has a fear of something behind then, SCP-XXXX will display its anomalous properties. When the victim of SCP-XXXX (Now referred to as SCP-XXXX-A) enters any hallway in the house, SCP-XXXX-1 will manifest behind them. The vividness of SCP-XXXX-1 depends on the levels of fear in SCP-XXXX-A.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a shadow-like male of unknown nationality. Any attempts to view SCP-XXXX-1's defining physical features have resulted in death. SCP-XXXX-1 stands at varying heights, but always at least 30cm above its victim. If SCP-XXXX-A feels an uneasy presence and attempts to look behind themselves to look for SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-1 will vanish and reappear behind them again. Once there are irrational levels of fear and paranoia in the victim, SCP-XXXX-1 will fully appear to its victim at the end of its vision, regardless of if its victim is still in the hallway or not.
Upon viewing SCP-XXXX-1 with one's own eyes during a paranoid state will induce sweating, shortness of breath, and chest pain. SCP-XXXX-1 does not appear harmful, or to harbor any malicious intent for human life, but rather these are side effects of it simply existing. However, it may sometimes try to chase down people it deems as friends, unknowingly causing their demise. SCP-XXXX-1 does not seem to be capable of speech, though tests have been impossible to conduct on it, as when the victim no longer harbors any fear, SCP-XXXX-1 vanishes.
Survivors who have encountered SCP-XXXX-1 have reported feeling uneasy going down any hallway, some even refusing to enter dimly lit hallways due to traumatic experiences with SCP-XXXX.
