To: ALL RESEARCH PERSONNEL ABOVE SUPERVISOR
From: Director of Research Dr. ██████ Green
Subject: Research Management Reassessment
I have decided to institute a Research Management Reassessment, you will be required to DM me your answers to the following questions, or you will be demoted. You have until midnight tomorrow, US Eastern Time. Each one of you will be temporarily set to Supervisor. This is not as a demotion, but a temporary holding place while the RMR is on-going. You're ranks after the RMR will be decided by your answers, so write wisely.

NEW MESSAGE!
To: Director of Research Dr. ██████ Green
From: Haz. Supervisor Dr. Alto Clef
Subject: Re:Research Management Reassessment
Name:
Dr. Alto Clef
Rank:
Hazardous Research Supervisor
Subdivision (if applicable):
Hazardous Research
Why did you join Research originally?:
I joined research in V1 when the total members were approximately 2 people. During this time, I wanted to find something to do which did not involve weapons or combat. During this time, I realized the enjoyment I got out of an interview with SCP-079 or SCP-049. Because of this, I continued developing my skills past V1 into V2.
Describe what you have done to better research so far:
Starting from the beginning, as I previously stated, during V1 there were very few members of Research. I spent most of my free time training and inspiring many researchers to become better than ever. Because of this, I became known as the research guy. I spent over half a year as a Senior Researcher with no superiors, making me the de-facto leader. After some time, I grew a following of very talented researchers. Among this group were legends such as Dr. Phoenix and, of course, Dr. Simon Glass. Because of my efforts and dedication, I formed the first truly great research department. Though I have not been nearly as active as I wish this iteration, I have just learned I have an entire month out of school. As such, my many personal projects have been put on hold. I look forward to improving research, starting with Hazardous Research.
Describe SCP-079 in a technical sense:
SCP-079 is both highly advanced and extremely outdated. The operating system SCP-079 runs on was originally developed to create artificial intelligence, however, it was never fully completed. This is the main source of its anomalous classification, as the program developed itself into a full-blown AI which is far more powerful than its technical capacity. Because of this, the SCP Foundation has been tasked with restricting its ability to connect with more powerful systems as we cannot predict how powerful it would become.
On average, how many times a week are you on the server?:
My average playtime is usually twice to three times a week, however, this was during a time in which I had school and many independent projects. This number should be increasing as I do not have any school for approximately a month.
Why should I keep you as a Supervisor?:
You should keep me as a supervisor so I can use my extensive experience and newfound spare time to help improve the Research Department to heights never before seen. I, of course, will not be doing this alone. With the help of my associates and peers, I believe we can accomplish great things. I also hope to bring a fresh perspective to research, many systems Dr. Glass proposed were quite different from the conservative approach I took during my time as Head Researcher. Because of this, I have some ideas for change and improvement which, in theory, will inspire those down to Researcher to create expansive new tests and proposals. I will also be able to use my access to the map to improve research from a first-person perspective. In the past, I could not expand it much as I did not have a grasp on what people truly wanted, I only could go based on appearance. For these reasons and more, I believe I should remain Supervisor.
Why should I consider promoting you to an Overseer?:
I believe I qualify for Research Overseer, and I would like to cite my experience as Head Researcher (Former title of Director of Research) and my ability to grow research from two people to one of the largest. I also would cite that I trained and cultivated Dr. Simon Glass during his time in V1, even helping him choose the name he goes by. I have undergone multiple years of leadership training outside of Garry's Mod which has taught me to think from the perspective of the leader and the subordinate. This skill has assisted me in my day to day life extensively, and I believe it would be an essential skill for anyone in an Overseer position. I also have an aptitude for taking a simple idea and expanding it into a full-blown project, which would help those who do not quite know what they want get something truly great.
How many tests have you done since this launch of Deep Gaming?:
Due to my limited time and my working on the map for the majority of the beginning, I have not performed any large-scale projects. This does not mean I have been inactive in testing planning though, I have many ideas which I hope to use to improve the Hazardous Research department. These span from radioactive experimentation to reality manipulation, interesting stuff.
How many projects have you started for Research since this launch of Deep Gaming? (List them):
As previously stated, I have not had the chance to truly start some of my larger plans so I do not have any to list.
Who do you feel rightfully deserves the Director of Research job?:
I believe the position of Director should go to those with the most potential for leadership and growth, along with the capacity to grow others through inspiration and motivation. A long time ago, it was me, I then passed it on to Dr. Glass, now that responsibility falls to you.
