Item number: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Due to widespread location of SCP-XXXX instances and unpredictability of Birmania events, SCP-XXXX is currently uncontained.
Combat and Researcher staff are stationed in Site-XX, located in the center of SCP-XXXX's natural habitat. Site-XX staff are to monitor frequently affected areas and report any Birmania events. Engaging agents are to avoid gunfire upon SCP-XXXX young instances, but should always terminate older instances as quickly and effectively as possible.
The existence and nature of SCP-XXXX is to be attributed to myths and Argentinian folklore under the names of Mulánima, Almamula, Teté Cuñá, and/or Mula Frailera. The communities living in SCP-XXXX's natural habitats are to be raised, educated or otherwise heavily influenced by Catholic Christianism doctrine, so as to morally condemn relationships -romantic or carnal- of incestuous nature. They must also be taught that the Mulánima is invincible, and that it should not be engaged under any circumstance.
Upon a female resident's sudden disappearance, infiltrated agents in police agencies inside SCP-XXXX's area of influence should conduct top-priority research. If it is concluded that the missing person has become an instance, a cover-up story and report should be given to local authorities and the missing person's family.
Instances of SCP-XXXX that have been restored to their human form (from here on refered to as SCP-XXXX-1) are to be researched as necessary until no further information can be extracted. Upon completion, SCP-XXXX-1 instances must be terminated via lethal injection.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a quadruped resembling an emaciated Equus Ferus Caballus (common horse) in appearance, bearing loose brakes and reins which reach ground level. Its head resembles a emaciated woman, though each particular face depends on the instance in question. SCP-XXXX vociferations invariably elicit feelings of fear. Its attacks are infrequent; an average of 0.4 attacks occur every five years. Instances have been proven to grow and mature over time, though its means of sustenance are not known, due to SCP-XXXX's anomalous nature.
SCP-XXXX dwells throughout the Argentinian north in the provinces of ███████ and ████████ ███ ██████, where Site-XX operates. A new instance of SCP-XXXX originates after the dissapearance of a female resident of the settlements in the region. By unkown means, the missing female becomes one of these entities. Their targets are any townsfolk they may come across, though they prefer young males and tend to avoid members of their former families.
When SCP-XXXX instances begin their predatory phase, a Birmania event may occur. Birmania events consist of SCP-XXXX instance(s) walking a path through the woods, stalking the perimeter of the settlement in question until they reach the nearest church, devouring the civilians they may come across. There are currently no ways to predict when and where a Birmania event will begin. A Birmania event will end whenever a male inflicts a laceration on the instance's skin. Lacerating the skin of SCP-XXXX will turn it into SCP-XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX-1 is the restored female form of an SCP-XXXX instance. These instances retain knowledge and memories of all their doings during their transformation. All instances become severely traumatized after the fact, presenting signs of severe PTSD and dissociative disorders.
