NylanNightmare

Item #: SCP-6000

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6000 is to remain undisturbed in Class 5 containment cell for further observation. Its containment cell is to be placed behind a triple airlock, to avoid release into the Facility. On account incident *Incident 6000-3a* SCP-6000 is to have no direct contact with guards, staff or otherwise. SCP-6000 is to be kept locked

Observation and experimentation on SCP-6000 is to performed in short intervals of five minutes or less, as prolonged exposure to SCP-6000 has shown to result in: Depression, Mental Illness, Suicidal & Violent Thoughts, ██████ and ████████████.

Furthermore any SCP Staff working with SCP-6000 are to be under no mental or emotion duress for their and the facilities security, any staff affected by SCP-6000 are to be placed under Class 5 detention for examination for 1 month before release.

Entities cell is modeled after its last known residence and is to receive no maintenance for risk of interaction with SCP-6000.

Those assigned to SCP-6000 are to watch Surveillance footage of occurred incidents to be aware of working with the entity and should *not* have any observation or proximity to entity until mentally sound.

Description: SCP-6000 as best as can be observed is a mimic image of its host, this was first noticed by Dr. Devereux who noted that the entity can more accurately be seen in reflective surfaces resembling its current host █████, with some differences of posture and appearance.

Its host, █████ from ███████ ████████, stands at 6 feet, weighing in at 230 lbs, muscular body, black hair of shoulder length which has not been observed growing, host is Caucasian with distinct masculine features.

When seen in reflections SCP-6000 which █████ address's as ████, displays an almost identical physical appearance with longer hair, black eyes and domineering posture.

Data is inconclusive but it has been gathered from observation that SCP-6000 has a telepathic link to its host, the entity also appears to be capable of manipulating Host's senses to provoke hallucinations, it has been observed in early observation that the entity can also enhance host's senses as observed by a guard, now terminated, who the host was noted to be able to hear despite confinement.

Host has displayed incredible physical strength and dexterity, in a early incident, *see Incident* _6000-1a_, Host while under influence of SCP-6000 was capable of striking its hand through the cement wall and crush a guards windpipe, initial response proved ineffective, munitions had little effect, SCP staff member Edgar Laurence led SCP-6000 into current holding cell at cost of own life.

Beyond this SCP-6000 appears to have other abilities and may have others.
Displayed abilities are as such:

- SCP-6000 displays ability similar to that of SCP-106 in that it can apparently teleport while in dark spaces.

- SCP-6000 is able to alter or manipulate wave-lengths, noticed by malfunctioning equipment at time of SCP-6000's first incident, manipulating these wave-lengths is believed to be how SCP-6000 distorted images, moved and affected items and persons from afar and caused spontaneous combustion.

- Physical contact with SCP-6000's blood also has below mentioned affects on subjects.

- SCP-6000 is aware of the possessed insecurities, fears and internal thoughts of others and is noted to be highly aware and observational.

- During time of entity control over host weather outside facility was reportedly violent.

As with Incident 6000-2a, it has been determined that direct interaction with SCP ( physically or sensory ) can result in manifestation of mental illness and hallucinations, this was learned from Dr.Laura Kinney who through a feeding slot ( now sealed ) passed a notepad to host who was requested to answer questions regarding SCP-6000, this clarified that the entity manifests in stages.

Stage 1- Subject will experience mood swings, most importantly loss of confidence and self worth.

Stage 2 - Subject will begin displaying increased aggression and antisocial behavior as well as the symptoms of stage 1.

Stage 3 - Subject will begin experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations of the entity mirroring their appearance as well as the symptoms of stage 1 & 2 in addition to vivid memories related to shame, humiliation, emotional suffering and anger.

Stage 4 - Subject shall begin to develop a dependency on the entity akin to Dependent personality disorder (DPD), Entity's presence will arouse both fear and comfort from subject however if the subject feels it is not present they shall resume experiencing the prior stages more intensely.

Stage 5 - From observation affected subjects either take their own lives, develop all the observed qualities of Sociopathy or Psychopathy with violent impulses, thus far none exhibit the behavior of SCP-6000's current host.

In early examination with affected subjects they describe the █████████ as severe depression coupled with anxiety, dredging up subject's insecurities, fears, self-loathing, emotional and psychological trauma meanwhile gradually encouraging them towards violent solutions and more assertive behavior.

Addendum: SCP-6000 has been declared highly-dangerous and proven difficult to contain and observe, it has been determined that the Host, when kept passive displays no more threat then the average human being, if Host's will falters they have been observed to commit suicide, pass away and then be restored by entity.

Host has been shown to be vulnerable to emotional manipulation, women in particular, *as observed in the case of Dr. Laura*, seem to be better received.

Hypothesis presented by Dr. Laura and supported by Dr. Devereux, is that in moments of psychological duress the host allows the entity to, " assume control ", of host body in which case the extreme physical attributes and not yet confirmed abilities, as were observed in incident _6000-1a_, are displayed, it is unconfirmed if the same response might be had for the purposes of self defense.

SCP-6000 was captured in 2007 and given restrictions imposed by the entity it has proven one of the most difficult to observe, contain or research.

SCP-6000 is easily contained in its current cell, should it escape it is still uncertain how it may be neutralized, hypothesis remains that in the event of escape SCP-6000 may be contained by simply locking back within its cell, prior to Incident 6000-2a it was speculated that the host might be calmed by a emotionally receptive female staff, however the events of the incident in which Dr. Laura was ████████ and driven into a state of emotional and psychological stress in which she attempted to free SCP-6000 and upon being detained before doing so committed suicide by ████████ ███ ████ against the shatter proof observational glass while sobbing a black ichorish substance similar to a greasy soot, this theory has been proven incorrect.

Dr.Laura's fate however did spark speculation from Dr. Devereux and colleague Kassie who exibited interest in observation and study of SCP-6000 that the entity did this out of self defense or sense of protectiveness over its host, lashing out at the threat of emotional harm, this speculation is not yet been confirmed and upon watching the footage of Incident 6000-2a Miss Ortiz has signed off on working further on the project.

Alternatively it has been determined that due to SCP-6000's extreme physical and otherworldly abilities, as well as its restorative properties that it could serve as neutralization for other Keter class SCP's.

Further observation and testing is required for further information.
