Item #: SCP-5136

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5136 is to be kept in a 12 by 12 feet room, with 10 centimeter thick concrete walls and no CCTV. No personnel is to enter the room without being viewed by at least 2 other personnel from outside of the cell, and must call out whenever they are going to blink. Eye contact with SCP-5136-1 through 10, must be broken every 15 seconds. After more than 5 minutes of viewing the SCP, the subject has 3 hours to live before termination.

Description: SCP-5136 is a bright white room, with the dimensions of a standard bedroom (12x12 feet). From the inside, SCP-5136 looks infinite, as the corners are indiscernible.

SCP-5136 itself isn't capable of harm to a subject. the only dangers of the SCP are what is inside SCP-5136. Which are SCP-5136-1 through (currently) 10. They appear as monkeys that spin in a circle constantly, without their legs moving. they spin at a velocity of 150 km/h, and trying to enter the circle results in death(only one case of this not being true is currently known, view addendum), as the monkeys would not slow down while hitting the subject.

If a subject enters the room, eye contact should NOT be maintained with 5136-1 through 10. if it is maintained, after 5 minutes of watching, the subject will get attached to the monkeys, not being able to look away. The subject henceforth is doomed. If eye contact is maintained for another 5 minutes, totaling 10, the monkeys will slowly stop spinning. This process takes about 15 seconds. Once the monkeys have stopped spinning, they will line up and look at the subject. The subject will slowly start transforming into a monkey, which is a very painful process. Once the transformation is complete, the subject will join the circle, and spin until another subject enters 5136. The transformed subject will be added to the list as SCP-5136-#.

Weird noises will also occur after a certain amount of time is spent in the room, most commonly after 30 seconds. Only the subject will hear these.

CCTV is used to keep a line of sight with the door, and if line of sight is broken by both personnel currently watching the door, the door will then vanish, and the only other way for the subject to escape is to follow the walls until he can find the doorknob, which will be moved around the room, instead of being at the original door’s position. However, the door will still lead to the airlock. It is yet unknown how the door always leads to the same place.
