Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a concrete containment chamber at Site-██. Containment chamber walls and ceiling are to be reinforced by a secondary layer of drywall and fiberglass insulation, and must be fitted with acoustic paneling to ensure complete soundproofing of the room. The entrance to this chamber is to be staffed by two armed guards, who are to be rotated weekly with an alternate team of guards.
The interior of SCP-XXXX's chamber is to be monitored by no less than two class-XX personnel via remote audio and video surveillance systems. In the event of an SCP-XXXX-1 instance, monitored audio surveillance must cease until cleared to resume by onsite supervisors. All recordings of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be submitted to the current onsite supervisor, who will be directed to send said recordings to a randomly generated list of offsite research labs.
Following incident XXXXX, no foundation personnel are permitted to enter SCP-XXXX's chambers unless authorized by an O5 operative.
Any onsite personnel addressed by an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be transferred offsite immediately, and must undergo thorough psychiatric and psychological examination before being cleared to return to Site-██.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a vintage AM/FM transistor radio produced by Panasonic between 196█ and 1970. The battery casing appears to have been forcibly closed, and corrosive damage surrounding the casing - which is assumed to have been caused by leaking battery acid - has effectively sealed the panel shut. All attempts to access the battery compartment without damaging SCP-XXXX have been unsuccessful. Despite this, SCP-XXXX shows little sign of age or weathering, and otherwise functions nominally.
