Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6309 is to be contained in a 6 m cube of reinforced material. Access to containment cube is to be through a 100 m corridor. Steel spear is to be installed within the corridor floor each 0.25 m2. Food will be automatically dispensed twice a day in the form of rag dolls.
A security station located at the corridor entrance is to be staffed with no fewer than 4 security personnel equipped with hazmat suits. Armament is to include, but not limited to, at least 2 CIW systems on a casemate with a clear line of sight down the corridor, with reinforced plexiglass screen to protect the operator from high-force impact.
People bitten by SCP-6309-A is to be terminated within 24 hours if showing symptoms of SCP-6809-B.
Description: SCP-6309 consists of two components: an infected mouse-deer (SCP-6309-A) and its virus (SCP-6309-B).
SCP-6309-A is a carnivorous tragulina. It has undergone several transformations due to SCP-6309-B. Prior encounters noted these changes:
- Take several .50 BMG rounds to the head despite severe damage to encephalon.
- Survive for over thirty (30) minutes bereft of oxygen before asphyxiating
- Prominent incisors
Upon infecting human SCP-6309-B alters its host similar to SCP-6309-A, excluding:
- Robust skull
- Increased oxygen capacity and heartbeat
- Enhanced teeth and nails
