Description: SCP-XXXX is an air- and liquid borne virus whose primary anomalous effects occur in equines, with some effects noted in other species, including deer, donkeys and yaks. Effects in equines include intelligence increase and anatomical changes including vocal chord generation and the growth of either extra muscle mass, wings, or a horn analogous to those belonging to unicorns in mythology. In other species, changes are limited to intelligence increase and vocal chord generation. Instances of infection are referred to as SCP-XXXX-1.

In equines, infection proceeds in four stages:

Stage 1: (3-7 days after infection) Extreme intelligence increase to near-human levels. In addition, cranial warping via temporary anomalous reversion to postnatal cartilage occurs to allow for extra brain mass, with the visual effect of a seemingly shortened muzzle and front-facing eyes by seven days since infection.

Stage 2: (5-11 days after infection) Development of speech ability. May begin before stage 1 ends. Organs analogous to human vocal chords form in the throat, allowing for verbal communication. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 reaching stage 2 universally speak the same language, a version of English with minor dialectical differences, most notably the changing of pronouns ending in -body or -one to -pony, e.g. somebody becomes "somepony".

Stage 3: (11-30 days after infection) Other anatomical changes. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 go through one of three groups of anatomical changes, here referred to as stages 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3.
