Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5421 is to be contained within all rooms in which all instances are currently located. The doors to each room must be blocked from the outside and, where possible, there must be no walls connecting to the outside of the room. If this requires demolition of the surrounding building then it should be done, while also ensuring the integrity of the room in which SCP-5421-* is located. There must be a buffer zone of at least 30 cm filled with water between the door to SCP-5421 and the surrounding environment to prevent the spread of it's anomalous properties.
Description: SCP-5421 is a mural of an unknown individual on a wall, many instances of this picture exist throughout the ███████ area in ████████. The Foundation knows about the existence of five instances of SCP-5421.
SCP-5421 is known to have little effect on those who are near it, but when contact is made subjects have been observed to have severe burns and if contact is maintained long enough the subjects body slowly fuses to the wall, thus becoming a part of SCP-5421. (See Addendum 1)
SCP-5421-A
SCP-5421-1 is located within the ████ █████. Initially, there was no evidence to suggest the SCP was anomalous until metropolitan police reports suggested that one of their members had been last seen entering the building where SCP-5421-1 is located. After thorough investigation it was found that a portion of the wall, albeit a small section, was found to be made of human skin. located on the north wall of the room. Dna samples were taken and it was determined that this was the officer in question. Thus leading to the location being classified as SCP-5421. After numerous reports of the same happening all around the city each location was numbered A-E.
Incident 5421-1:
On ██ ███ ████ a D-Class personnel was being tested on SCP-5421-E. The test consisted of the D-Class entering the room and standing in the middle of the room while researchers observed from a camera on the subjects body. Despite researchers orders the D-Class panicked and opened the door and attempted to leave. Somehow SCP-5421 had affected the subjects feet and the D-Class fell over, thus allowing SCP-5421-E to spread beyond the buffer zone. Area was evacuated and a colourful silhouette of the D-Class was all that remained. Due to the incident D-Class are now not informed of the situation when tests begin.
