Item #: SCP-AGE

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-AGE is to be kept at the Foundation Hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit until further notice. Personnel working with SCP-AGE are required to wear full body barriers and to avoid prolonged physical contact with SCP-AGE when possible. Any equipment that comes into direct physical contact with SCP-AGE must be checked for damage every 24 hours. No experiments on SCP-AGE are permitted until its physical conditions have stabilized.

SCP-AGE-B is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell fit with a nursery. Additionally, SCP-AGE-B must be monitored for postpartum depression and is allowed to visit SCP-AGE at any time given that she is accompanied by one other personnel and does not have any physical contact with SCP-AGE.

SCP-AGE-A is to be located and contained as soon as possible.

Description: SCP-AGE is a humanoid anomaly with the ability to increase the aging process of any object it comes into direct physical contact with by approximately 150%. SCP-AGE's health concerns include anemia, mild IVH1, jaundice, PDA2, RDS3, and ROP4 due to being born prematurely. It is believed that this premature birth was caused by SCP-AGE's anomalous properties. SCP-AGE's mother (SCP-AGE-B) shows no anomalous abilities. The location and possible anomalous abilities of the father (SCP-AGE-A) is as of yet unknown.

In 1945, SCP-AGE-B was discovered at a local clinic in Regina, Saskatchewan by members of MTF-Epsilon-8 (The Midwives). SCP-AGE-B was then transported to the Foundation Hospital where she gave birth to SCP-AGE approximately 13 weeks before her due date.
