Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-XXXX's immovable nature, the only containment procedures required are for (2) armed guards to patrol the perimeter in which SCP-XXXX is located (see Incident-XXXX-1). Any unauthorized personnel attempting to dismantle or destroy SCP-XXXX will immediately be terminated.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 5 m x 3 m x 3 m log cabin residing in the woods of ███████, Alaska, with 2 opaque windows on the left external wall, and stairs leading up to the entrance of SCP-XXXX. On the roof of SCP-XXXX is a 0.5 m x 0.5 m x 1 m chimney that occasionally dispenses black smoke from an unknown source. Located inside of SCP-XXXX is a crevasse in a frozen pond that most resembles the shape of a human eye (labelled SCP-XXXX-2)
Upon entering SCP-XXXX, subjects have described the inside of SCP-XXXX as an entirely different forest, with SCP-XXXX-2 located in front of the entrance. Attempts to explore this forest have failed due to the fact that, when inside SCP-XXXX, subjects can only walk the 5 m x 3 m x 3 m space that SCP-XXXX appears to have on the outside. When entering SCP-XXXX-2, all forms of communication are lost, and any attempts at trying to research what happens in the hole have failed.
SCP-XXXX was discovered by a group of archaeologists on an expedition. The group discovered SCP-XXXX while headed to their destination, and assuming it was unoccupied, decided to enter the cabin. When they entered, they saw SCP-XXXX-2 and the forest inside of SCP-XXXX, and reported it to the Foundation.
An experiment involving a D-Class being lowered into SCP-XXXX-2 revealed the affects of SCP-XXXX-2. The D-Class was equipped with scuba diving gear, and attached to a chain to be pulled back up. After 30 minutes of being submerged, the chain started to shake violently. When personnel pulled the chain back up, the D-Class had been detached from the chain, and the foundation couldn't find the body. The D-Class was confirmed dead, and the cause of death was unknown. Multiple other experiments similar to this took place, but all had the same result.
Addendum: When a log is removed from SCP-XXXX, entrance inside of SCP-XXXX will only be an empty house. Upon putting the log back in place, the anomalous affects are returned to SCP-XXXX.
Incident-XXXX-1: On 10/22/20██, Dr. O████ and Dr. P██████ were tasked with guarding SCP-XXXX. Around the time of 3:██, Dr. O████ reported the snow around SCP-XXXX turning a shade of deep maroon. Around 4:██, Foundation lost contact with both Dr. O████ and Dr. P██████, and when Foundation arrived, all snow in a 20 m radius within SCP-XXXX had turned maroon and rose atleast 1 m, and the bodies of Dr. O████ and Dr. P██████ were found submerged under the snow, and were confirmed dead. Due to this, the armed guard(s) must be positioned atleast 25 m away from SCP-XXXX to assure no casualties will be reported if this incident happens again.
