Addendum XXXX-01: SCP-XXXX was recovered in the residence of Mitchell ███████, in █████████, Florida, USA, after he was found dead in his personal office clutching a sheet of tinfoil. The following message was found written on the tinfoil with what appeared to be blue ink from a ballpoint pen:

Hearts are strange thing aren’t they? They keep you alive, circulating blood throughout your body. But nothing is perfect. Even the very things that keep you alive can fail. One moment you’re placing a sheet of tinfoil into a filing cabinet, the next you’re collapsing on the floor clutching your chest. As the feeling of a clenched fist where your heart should be gets worse and worse, you get short of breath. Your life flashes before your eyes. Ironic isn’t it? Your heart, the very symbol for life itself, is what causes your downfall. Goodbye Mitchell.

SCP-XXXX was placed under watch by the foundation after that incident, but was only truly taken into foundation custody when, 10 days later, Kayla ███████, Mitchell ███████’s wife, placed his obituary into SCP-XXXX, only to take it out and see the following scribbled writing on the paper:

Ah, high school. The time in everyone’s life when they decide what they want to do for their future. High school graduation is often seen as a turning point for most people’s lives, when they finally leave their teenage years behind and get dumped into the real world. Your high school graduation was no different. As you got called up to say a tiny speech to describe the four most emotional years of your life, and you get a cute little certificate. You throw your hat into the air along with your six friends who attended the ceremony with you. In the corner you see your freshman crush, Brian, and you think to yourself, ‘How on earth did I like that guy, what a jerk!’ As you arrive home and your parents celebrate you with a fancy dinner at [REDACTED] Restaurant, you feel happy for what you accomplished. Congratulations, Kayla.

The foundation took SCP-XXXX into custody and administered Kayla ███████ a Class-A amnestic.
Addendum XXXX-02:
Due to the knowledge SCP-XXXX has shown about the real world, it has been theorized that SCP-XXXX is sentient in some way. Containment and testing procedures should be adjusted to consider this possibility. -Dr. Werther
