Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is located in a 15x15 feet area, the mask is held in the back middle of the room on a steel pedestal that is 4 feet high off the ground. The room is designed to look like a typical German trench, qualifications for that is usually nicer structures and more sturdier bunkers, also tactical and fully functional machine gun holds, we decorated the room with dirt, grass, machine guns, bullets, first aid kits, and mud. The reason we did this is because when the mask was removed from its original location it started releasing an annoying stench that progressively got worse, we tried to simulate what a trench would look like and finally when we succeeded the stench was removed almost instantaneously. Level 3+ personnel can access SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a early version of a German gas mask made much before The Great War started. The left eye glass of the mask is severely shattered while the right one is perfectly in tact besides the mud stains. The mask is also ripped at the bottom a little making this rendered useless in a supposed gas attack. The inside of the mask though is oddly clean, besides from the mud stains. The mask was found in 192█ by 5 French engineers told to fill up the trench as it was blocking a planned road construction. The mask was found near an entrance to a German bunker sticking half way out of the mud. This mask was in a very odd position to be here as the trench it was originally found in was a trench that was used in the battle of Verdun, which toke place in 1916 and by then the Germans had made way better versions of the Gas masks.
The person to enter direct eye contact with the mask 3 feet from the host, he or she will be oddly attracted and determined to put it on, when placed on it is a perfectly normal gas mask from what it seems, but then approximately 6 seconds later the host will fall to the ground in an agonizing excruciating cough and proceed to turn purple and hold his or her neck tightly until death. upon removing the mask from the dead host the face will have yellow blisters and bloodshot eyes and their face will be all purple but slowly turn back to the hosts normal skin tone. The other parts of the body are not effected by this. This is also advanced exposure to mustard gas as the blisters and bloodshot eyes usually develop after several minutes after death, everyone surrounding the host while undergoing this will not see or suffer any of the mustard gas effects.

Martin: Yeah he was actually chuckling to himself before he even picked up the mask and as he got closer and closer to putting it on and when he did eventually put it on its like he snapped into a humorous outbreak and just making kinda crude jokes about Germany.Dr. Bernard: Yes… that will be all that's needed thank you good sir stand up and proceeds to shake his hand as the exit the room
