Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a fully darkened containment chamber measured 4X4X2.5 meters. The walls of the chamber are to be painted black. The entrance to the containment chamber must include a lobby with two doors to prevent light entry. Subjects entering the chamber must be equipped with night-vision goggles and must not bring any source of light with them.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a humanoid figure of average height and width. It lacks identifying features, apart from a pair of brown eyes. The entity appears to be composed of a black solid matter. It is unknown what material it is made of but [DATA EXPUNGED].
Previous experiments show that the entity tries to avoid physical contact between itself and subjects. It does not respond to attempted communication and does not appear to have sentience. The entity appears to not need any nutrients or water for living.
When exposed to light, SCP-XXXX enters an aggressive state. The creature will attempt to destroy the source of the light and its carrier. Instantly after that, it returns to its docile self.
If the source of light can't be reached or turned off, the creature will start to be emotionally distressed and will begin to search for a solution. Using its hands to scratch the closest surface, it will try to hide in objects' shadows and will try to find coverage. Then it will start to attack living creatures in his area including itself. This state will not stop until the area is completely dark.
The creature can endure Ultraviolet and Infrared light, but it seems disturbed by the light and will begin to be agitated. It will happen sixty (60) minutes when exposed to UV light and ██ minutes under IR light. The creature seems curious but cautious from laser lights and will follow the light with his eyes.
Addendum: Discovery
SCP-XXXX was discovered in the town of ████, Italy after multiple complaints from distressed citizens of the creature. A task force was sent there to capture the creature. It was found after a member of the force turned on its flashlight. That caused the creature to attack the force. The force cornered SCP-XXXX and managed to capture it.
Addendum XXXX-1: There have been multiple tries to physically contact SCP-XXXX. The most successful one by having D-█████ push it to a corner. When the subject reached a 30 centimeters space from SCP-XXXX, it attacked the subject while making a high- pitched voice, causing the subject to [REDACTED]
