Special Containment Procedures:
Effective containment methods are difficult to establish due to the nature of SCP-4XXX. Currently, the subject is contained in a negatively charged 17 cm (6 in.) thick 10m x 10m x 10m steel cage lined with densely packed clays and ceramics. It is recommended that the cell be suspended as an extra precaution, but this is not required for relocation or entering of the chamber. The cell is not to be suspended using electromagnets or any other electronic suspension methods. No lights, cameras, or other electronic equipment is allowed within a 1.5 meter (5 ft.) radius of the cell.
Access to the containment room is limited to level 4 and 5 access, or anyone who receives special clearance from the 05 council. The room is to contain no less than five (5) Class D personnel with good vision (No glasses or contacts. Subject must have at least 20/25 vision). All researchers and security guards must regard all information about the SCP provided by the Class D as truthful. At least ten (10) members of MTF-Theta-63 “Blinded Eyes” must be posted around the containment cell at all times.
Description:
Little is known of SCP-4XXX's appearance at the moment. From what has been put together by the Class Ds that have been assigned the object, SCP-4XXX is a completely white humanoid figure approximately 9 meters (29 ft) tall. The subject is said to appear malnourished despite the amount of food provided and digested. The subject also appears to have bright red colored irises. The subject has no nose, but a mouth that spans around 180 degrees of the head.
SCP-4XXX is invisible to anyone of a high rank. Changing into civilian clothing has no effect on the ability. Since the initial containment in █/█/19██, only three (3) level one security personnel claimed to have seen the entity. Multiple janitors claim they can see the object as well. No one above level 1 security or anyone involved in government activity or jobs such as firemen, police, infrastructure engineers, and doctors has ever seen the object. SCP-4XXX is not visible on any wavelength to this group. Coroners do not seem to be able to see victims of these attacks either, leaving Class D to guide them through the steps of the process. Anyone exposed to the item has reported hearing a variety of sounds coming from it. Most common are footstep noises, but this noise is reported to be very quiet. The item can be heard faintly screeching or yelling while attacking or in pursuit of its prey.
SCP-4XXX also can remotely access any electronic devices. If a path to an electronic is obstructed by any powerful insulators, the object cannot access it.1 It can exert electrical energy as little as a gaming controller and as much as an electric chair. This does not appear to be affected by energy intake, energy output, or any other process, and it is apparently random.
The subject appears to rely mostly on brute force to attack regardless of its electrical abilities.2 The SCP can exert massive forces, stronger than 3 kilonewtons (675 lb.). This object is currently responsible for 3██ deaths by these means, while only ██ by electric discharges.
It is currently unknown how many specimens of 4XXX exist currently, see Addendum 4XXX-1.
Discovery:
1/██/20██: During a rotation of SCP-354's Class D persons, subject D-████ and D-████ reported seeing 4XXX. Subjects were provided amnestics and labeled insane.
3/██/20██: During testing on SCP-███ at Site [DATA REDACTED], Class D posted [DATA REDACTED] reported sightings of a similar entity. Personnel were removed from chamber at approximately 1400 hours. All persons reporting the phenomena received mental examinations, which all returned clear. At approximately 1430 hours, a major power outage occurred in the ████-Wing of Site-██. An estimated 1██ found dead within a radial distance of [DATA EXPUNGED] of the containment room. ████-Wing temporarily in heavy lock down.
7/█/20██: After [DATA REDACTED] years, ████-Wing ventilation systems deploy a gaseous compound comprised of [DATA REDACTED]. Armed Class D personnel tasked with guiding Mobile Task Force Theta-63 "Blinded Eyes" to the entity. The object was retrieved and placed in temporary containment.3
7/██/20██: Approximately 2 hours after initial containment, cameras began to malfunction. Multiple units reported electronic disruptions. Multiple electronic-based weapons (grenades, tasers, etc.) went off unexpectedly resulting in ██ deaths and ██ more hospitalizations.
9/██/20██: MTF-Theta-63 along with 2█ Class D tasked with insulating chamber with densely compacted clay as requested by Dr. █████ and approved by 05 Council. ██ died during the process, but electronic disruptions ceased immediately after.
Addendum 4XXX-1:
Multiple citizens of [DATA REDACTED], Canada reported seeing multiple similar beings fitting SCP-4XXX’s description. Police were placed on high alert after reports of serial killers. Approximately 2██ found dead in their homes. All survivors of potential SCP-4XXX instances given Class-Z Amnestics. Area placed on lock down. Anyone who comes within 2 kilometer radius are to be given Class-A Amnestics and taken back to a nearby town.
Notes:
It is unconfirmed whether or not these attackers were instances of SCP-4XXX. MTF-Theta-63 “Blinded Eyes” was unable to locate any of the instances. After █ days of aerial surveying, Blinded Eyes vacated the area.
