Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4175 Is to be kept on a white table in a small room located in ▊▊▊▊▊▊▊▊. At least 3 Guards must be stationed at the room, 2 on the outer door and one on the inside protecting the door. Any movement or sound should be ignored by the guards.
Description: SCP-4175 is seemingly a matte black regular cowboy hat with markings on the outer rim of the hat reading "Yee to the Haw". SCP-4175 has multiple shapes and sizes that people see it in and adjusts to anyone's head as long as the hat is placed on top of it. SCP-4175 testing must consist of 3 security personnel as the object can get very dangerous when in a final stage. SCP-4175's stages are as followed; Stage-1 "Control". In this stage, the person has no control over their actions and has completely lost their minds at this point. This stage happens 5 minutes after the hat is placed on said person head. Stage-2 "Lost". In this stage, the person is no longer conscious about their actions and will animate, after animating the person will begin to dance around swinging the right arm up as if it has a lasso in their hand. Stage-3 "Cowboy". In this last and final stage, the person will start to shout the words "YEE-HAW" over and over again. Over time their vocals get raspy and they lose a lot of blood, spitting it from their mouth while still inanimate. After a bit more exposure SCP-4175 will begin to consume the person's head until their head is completely gone, where the head goes is not known yet.
SCP-4175's anomalies have been fully understood and known. SCP-4175 testing will still continue as other sources lead to different outcomes while testing with SCP-4175.
SCP-4175 upon being placed onto the head of a male will start to whisper "Yee to the Haw" as the personnel will slowly start swinging one arm in the air in a circular motion much like a cowboy with a rope. After 5 minutes they will then start kicking both legs in the air and scream "Yee to the Haw". After further exposure to SCP-4175, the personnel will begin to slowly die, as the hat shreds all hair off the personnel and beings chewing into the flesh of the personnel's head.
Addendum: SCP-4175 Was located and contained after numerous reports from locals in South [DATA EXPUNGED] Stated that their Husbands were acting strange and screaming, Unit's from ▊▊-▊ "▊▊▊▊▊▊ ▊▊▊▊" were sent to contain the entity. SCP-4175 was then contained in Site-▊▊ On ▊▊4▊/▊4/▊4. All locals in the area were given ▊▊▊▊▊▊ and went on with their lives as if nothing ever happened.
