Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5788 should be in a cell which has enough space for it, It should also be in a thick amount of steel. There must only be one door that can be opened from the outside, there should NOT be any vents inside the cell and there's no use for cameras. Around the door should be sensors, what the sensor does is activate SCP-5788's shock collar. The sensor stops when SCP-5788 is 5 feet away from the sensor. The shock will hurt SCP-5788 but not kill it, just something that will get it away.
Description: SCP-5788 is a human like creature, mainly a grown man crouching, it does not stand and is a little over nine feet long, they can also be up to three hundred fifty LBS. it does not use all four legs but its front two, its back two are too small and too weak to use, it's front two are two times bigger than it's back legs. It has no sign of hair anywhere else and does not have a tail and its ears are. It has over seventy serrated teeth that can rip bones, their teeth can grow to be up to two to three inches.
SCP-5788 all have a strip of hair going up their head, its approximately eight inches and is their sign and warning of attack, it will stay down unless it sees something moving, anything moving will give it a sign that its alive and if it moves then SCP-5788's strip of hair will rise up and you will start to hear pitch screams. It will wait for around five seconds and i't will then chase you at speeds of (thirty-one MPH). If you didn't run for your life, your going to die, SCP-5788 can spit what looks like an acid that is "unknown", no doctor has been able to find out what it is because it can instantly melt your skin. It is able to shoot distances up to (twelve feet) and one spit seems to be as big as a tennis ball.
SCP-5788 is also able to climb walls and can run on walls, it is able to melt steel with its spit. Many of the doctors tested it and it seemed to be smarter than an average ten year old, they saw that it was a very smart creature, it has an IQ of one-hundred and ten. SCP-5788 was shot with a tranquilizer dart before it was brought to its cell so before it was brought there it was given a "muzzle basket" but there were no holes to breath in so it could not spit at any one.
If this animal loses an arm or anything, they will be able to regrow it. SCP-5788 must wear a shock collar as it can react differently everyday. SCP-5788 will shed its skin every few months. SCP-5788 is able to infect a human by biting them, one bite is fatal and the one who gets bitten will then have an hour to live then their whole body will start decaying. SCP-5788 has no nose and only has one eye which can affect it.
Before you can get in and feed it or to clean its cell, you have to bring in a tranquilizer gun with at least 4 tranquilizer darts. If it tries to attack you, then you are able to shoot, what other thing you have to bring is at least one LBS of raw meat to feed it for the whole day.
